First time reading this author after a recommendation from another author, Freida McFadden! Great pacing, plot, and characters. The story unfolded flawlessly with just enough anticipation and cliff hangers to keep u reading, the ending did not disappoint!

Just when you think you know McFadden’s style and can’t predict what will happen next or at the end, then BOOM you are so wrong. Pleasantly wrong that is! Lol. Great pacing, great characters, and a fun read! Can’t wait to read a sequel to this!

Broke my heart to write this review

I’m a huge Freida McFadden fan but this one was hard to follow and even harder to finish. Because I was taught to finish what I start, I did. But this was brutal and not linear for a reader to follow. I see what she was trying to do but it’s just not one of her best pieces of work.

A good tricky read!

I enjoyed this one, sometimes I had to go back and reference who chapter it was bc of the voice performer’s similarities between characters. But the plot and story is so good that I was bothered by that much. Unexpected good ending too!

This is my 12 Kiersten Modglin novel! Just like the others, this book did not disappoint me at all! The characters tug on your heart strings and the plot sucks you right on in! You can’t help but keep turning the page while you are contemplating what’s going to happen next! Brilliantly written and narrated on Audible!
