Honestly, I've been waiting for another book from this author for years, and I'm glad I did. This was a wonderful slow burn with a charming conclusion.
I dread waiting for another book, but I have high hopes for good authors like this one.

Historia
My master created me for his entertainment, leading adventurers to ruin. Betraying them at the last moment, just when their glorious victory was on hand. I have been found again by the newest member of a quartet of dungeon crawlers. Poor fool. This time will be no different. Or does it have to be? Maybe I don't need to spend eternity left in a deep, dark dungeon waiting to devour would-be heroes. Maybe, just maybe, I can take him over and use this new identity to leave and masquerade as an adventurer myself.

Fantastic story, way too short
Revisado: 06-17-23
This was a great story, well written and nice characters. my only complaint is that it was way too short and midway through I was hoping this would become a series to follow on multiple adventures. Sadly not the case here, but I highly recommend this book regardless.

Historia
Lochlann Wilde walks in the shadow of his father, a legendary summoner who commanded mythical beasts in battle. But Locke isn't legendary. A wonderful book, sadly not for me.
Revisado: 12-28-22
This is a wonderful book with great characters, and a nice story. The only thing that nagged at me no matter how much I wanted to enjoy the story was the timeline. It just seemed way too fast for me and I was kinda craving a slow burn with this romance.
Aside from that one thing, this is a sweet story and I do recommend you get this. It's great!

Great story!
Revisado: 08-10-22
I've only one minor complaint, the narrator used the same voice for everyone, I couldn't tell the characters apart sometimes and other times If get confused for a moment as to who was talking.
besides that, the narrator has a great voice that makes listening to a good story relaxing, and this is a great story!

A Wonderful story
Revisado: 07-16-21
I could not stop listening to this and I really loved the characters. The duel magic that the main characters share, the femme fatal body guards, the trifecta of a boss the mafia head becomes! It's all good and the sex is steamy as well.
Can't wait for the next book!

Great writing, immersive story, only one flaw
Revisado: 01-18-21
Overall the whole story was great, it just touched on subjects that made me feel uncomfortable, such as implied sex slavery, forcing straight men into gay relationships and (kinda) rape.
It was consensual, but it took a fruit that drove you crazy to do it first.
Really, I struggled with the story because those elements remained almost constant. It wasn't until the final chapter that the story redeemed itself for me, in which I got more interested in the plot than the sex, where the only gay man pleads to the big alien's better nature.
Please don't misunderstand, everything before the final chapter was good too, I just couldn't enjoy it as much. I'm big on consent and I can't see a relationship where it's taken away as valid.
Too bad audible dosen't have the 2nd book. I'd like to see how this

Historia
Sebastian Orwell did the only thing a smart wizard could do when he stumbled upon the wounded Crown Prince: He healed him and dumped him in a tavern where he could continue not being Sebastian's problem. Unfortunately, the prince isn't content with being alive, and he hunts Sebastian down to thank him personally. Not only is Sebastian stuck with the prince's unwanted affections, but he's also confronted by growing evidence linking the assassination attempt to someone from his father's past.
