jarring repetitive ch. intro
Revisado: 09-06-21
the jarring chapter intro are unnecessary and counter productive to the soothing white noise of it all

Historia
This is a tale of sorrow, a tale of survival, a tale of one man's search for meaning in his universe, and how that search, and the indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend.

Historia
Logen Ninefingers, infamous barbarian, has finally run out of luck. Caught in one feud too many, he's on the verge of becoming a dead barbarian - leaving nothing behind him but bad songs, dead friends, and a lot of happy enemies. Nobleman, dashing officer, and paragon of selfishness, Captain Jezal dan Luthar has nothing more dangerous in mind than fleecing his friends at cards and dreaming of glory in the fencing circle. But war is brewing, and on the battlefields of the frozen North they fight by altogether bloodier rules.

great characters, simple story, bad ass scenes
Revisado: 04-05-17
I love these books, Abercrombie and rothfuss keep me a fantasy fan. people may not feel satisfied with the entirety of loose ends in the history and characters but I feel like J.A. gives you what you need to love the characters and also feel engaged with the story and history of the setting. It's so worth your time. voice actor nails it and nails it again
