I’m not sure the author read the first book.

In the last book it ended with his dad being part of the main story and in this book they didn’t even talk about the fact that his dad was gonna come get him. The narrator was of poor quality, it made this book hard to get through but I did and I’m done with this series. It has such potential after the first book.

This was horrible, they should burn this book and try again.

This is so disappointing. The first book was amazing, and the movie wasn’t half bad either. I was so excited for this book but now I want a refund. The end battle was so underwhelming. Do yourself a favor and skip this book and just know the first book was the best ever!

I HEARD HIS POD CAST WITH THAT ANNOYING GUY, ROGAN OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. THIS BOOK FROM START TO FINISH IS A SNORE FEST. IT WAS SO HARD TO MAKE IT THROUGH THIS WHOLE BOOK. THIS IS A TIN FOIL HAT TRIBUTE TO HUMANS DO DRUGS, FOR A REALLY LONG TIME. I WISH I HAD SOME DRUGS WHILE LISTENING TO THIS MIGHT HAVE BEEN MORE BEARABLE. WE GET IT GOD IS MADE UP, THERE IS NO POINT TO OUR EXISTENCE AND PEOPLE LIKE DRUGS. DIDN'T TAKE ME 15 HOURS TO GET THAT POINT ACROSS.

This would make an amazing movie/tv series. The struggle from the first book to the last kept you so entertained and you just wanted to keep listening to see what happen next. Give your ears a treat. It narration is perfect and X is an icon. I have recommended this book to several friends who also enjoyed the whole series.

I don't know what the humans are so cranky about. Their enclosures are large, they ingest over 1,000 calories per day, and they're allowed to mate. Plus, they have me: an Autonomous Servile Unit, housed in a mobile/bipedal chassis. I do my job well: keep the humans healthy and happy.

38 hr of the 46 hr long book is just stat reading

This series could have been great! You should have released a version that didnt have all the stat reading. Made these books so horrible and unable to recommend to friends. And the ones I did recommend to listen wont stop criticizing me about how boring these are with 3/4 of the books being nick reading stats. If you would have just given us the story you could have combined all 7 books into one. YOU ARE DEFINITYLY NOT THE FATHER OF RPG. The ASCEND ONLINE books were way better at story telling and not losing your interest. I hope you take this as positive criticism and know that although I paid for all 7 of these books and got several friends to buy them all also, it was such a horrible experience. If you took all of these and made one book with out the countless hours of stat reading it might just be enjoyable. Nick Podehl is amazing and he saved these books for what it is worth.
