What did you love best about Foodist?

Darya Pino Rose

What was one of the most memorable moments of Foodist?

The most memorable part for me was when she talked about her father's story at the end.

Any additional comments?

This book made me rethink all the diets that I've ever been on and all the weight that I've lost and gained back. I am in a place in my life where I NEED to get this weight back off of my body if I ever plan on being happy again. Listening to this book inspired me to change the things that I can control in my life. I control the food that goes into my body so I can change what items those are.

She went through a few short stories with people trying experiments in their daily life to see what makes them the most satisfied. It was really interesting how each of them played out and it made me want to try a few of my own.

This book is different from other dieting books because she doesn't go on and on about exercising or about taking food off the menu. She explains how you can eat those naughty foods intertwined with eating good foods and still be capable of losing weight. I hope the information that she gave in this book helps me, because I'm definitely going to try some things out.

I will say that this book and theory seems like it would work best for a single person. I'm not saying its impossible to do this with a family setting in mind, but it might come off as geared toward the single lifestyle.
