Manipulation does not have to be a bad thing, it is up to the person of how they want to use it. This book will explain why it should be done for the better and not worse. Great guide! Will have to listen again, especially the body language section for me because that’s where I want to grow the most at this point in my life.

I really enjoyed this book. It's an excellent overview of the listening process and has some handy tips for improving your listening skills. I especially liked the author's experience as a counselor. She's very familiar with what it takes to listen effectively and use active listening skills, and his advice is both practical and easy to implement. The author does an excellent job explaining complex concepts in simple language that anyone can understand.
