UGH!!!!
Revisado: 07-25-17
I really enjoyed this series. Monk writes in a way that makes you feel you are there in the story seeing it all unfold. You feel the emotions, the frustrations, the jolts and car crashes. It is incredible!
Which is why I was so massively disappointed in Book 4. Don't get me wrong, the writing is still fantastic with lots of action, but the whole amnesia direction just took this book backwards. Island and March had progressed so much from Book 1-3. Isn't that what we look for in characters? Growth? But for literally the 1st 22 chapters of this book I was irritated and just had to force myself to listen. Island was just worse off character wise than she was in the 1st book. It was just so ....IRRITATING.
You can skip chapters 1-22 and not miss anything except frustration. I wish I had. The last 1/2 was of the book was classic.
However, Amy's reading is as phenomenal as ever.

Rolling my eyes!!!!
Revisado: 06-02-16
Ok, 1st this has potential but I just can't get over Rachel. She is supposed to be this strong independent person but honestly comes across as a self centered, hotheaded brat who is all "gung ho" about getting in trouble but almost wets her pants every time she gets caught. She doesn't think, just jumps ahead without thinking. How is it that most "strong independent" women in some books are just written as complete idiots who sound smart but act dumb. I mean obvious dumb. Not even a subtle.
Logan. Ok, for whatever reason people are writing about him like he is so mean. I don't think he is mean enough. He is her protector and she does everything to try to get him and her killed. He only thinks about locking her up and never does...he doesn't call her out on any of the dumb things she does and he ends up getting in serious trouble of over stupidity and independent thinking, aka "jump before leaping and forget about consequences".
This book may be ok for other people but it is not for me. I want may money back.

Build up for the next book
Revisado: 01-13-16
This is a great edition to the series, but in this book they are simply gathering allies. There is a lot of fantastic new characters and I love the action. However, the Mari's constant complaint about her role is worse in this book and was working my nerves.
Because she and Alain are picking up allies {without even trying in most cases}, the book seems repetitious in areas since Mari and Alain keep having to "plead their case" each time. Personally after a while, i just fast forwarded through those parts because, well I've heard it before. However, it is necessary since they have to convince every group they meet, who she is and that the plan is. But, boy do they make themselves known and it gets a little preachy {but again, it is a necessary evil}
There was more action in this book than in all the others I believe. If you love this series, then you must get this book.

Wow the narration took effort to listen to
Revisado: 08-04-15
Great book...but the narrator took away from the story. I had to rewind a bunch just to see who said what do to run on sentences and the narrator putting emphasis on the wrong words. Better to read the book yourself in my opinion but if you are lazy like me then, you you'll adjust to the reading eventually.

Revisado: 05-28-15
Please buy the book! I bought this audio even though the reviews complained about the narrator and her mispronunciations. I thought "it really couldn't be that bad, could it?" YES!!!! It really is that bad. Not only does the narrator mess up the name Andromeda
[really?? it the title of the book for goodness sake!!] , but other names and words too. Not sure I can ever say Malachi the same way again. She also made everyone sound like they were preteen robots. But the preteen and robotic sound I could have handled. At first I thought the mispronunciations were funny but as the book progressed it just got more irritating.

Any additional comments?
Ok, if you are one of those thinkers who really has to have a firm grasp on timelines, this series is not for you. It is for pure entertainment! I'm not a time travel fan because it is very confusing but once I decided to just let the book tell the story and let go of trying to make sense of the timeline {because of course I am a linear thinker) the experience was suspenseful and so much fun! Great job Rysa! Kate is a great narrator! Lots of things that were touched on in Time's Echo are brought out in great detail in this book. It is so much fun and I can't wait until the next book. CRAZY, FUN, FANTABULOUS STUFF!

I wasn't going to write a review about this but I am chomping at the bit about how it ends! WHAT!!??? Ok I get the ending, but does anyone else? I need to say it out loud. It hurts not to say it. If you read books 1 & 2 you must read this one. This was the most frustrating book I've ever read but I am happy I read it. Hope that makes sense. What and Wow is all I can say without giving anything away. Just read/Listen to it!

Historia
Miki Jones' carefully controlled life spirals into chaos after she's run down in the street, left broken and bloody. She wakes up fully healed in a place called the lobby - pulled from her life, pulled through time and space into some kind of game in which she and a team of other teens are sent on missions to eliminate the Drau, terrifying and beautiful alien creatures. There are no practice runs, no training, and no way out. Every moment of the game is kill or be killed, and Miki has only the questionable guidance of Jackson Tate, the team's alluring and secretive leader.

I'm in!
Revisado: 07-29-14
Would you listen to Rush again? Why?
Yes, the narrator took some getting used to. She is breathy but you get used to it. I really enjoyed all the voices.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Rush?
I enjoyed the cave. That is where a lot of the questions started to get answered. And the Committee part. I was on the fence about Jackson but he sold me.
Which character – as performed by Amy Rubinate – was your favorite?
Jackson and Luca equally
Any additional comments?
I must admit that the 1st 12 chapters were hard for me. I felt just as frustrated as Miki. Not knowing or completely understanding what was going on. But it lasted 12 chapters.....you have to just get passed that and you will love this book.
