Gordon Korman has been churning out winners since he was a junior high kid himself. He understands kids, and this story is a great ethical dilemma.
Great performance by Christopher Gebauer. He plays a the different voices perfectly.
Highly recommended for kids and adults looking for an easy listen with a fun twist.

Well Done Psychological Mystery!

I really enjoyed this story. A missing boy returns. The mental impact on the boy and all those around him is examined from multiple points of view.
I did figure out a twist early, although I can’t say I was 100% sure. But it still made me keep listening.
The performance was top notch. Different voices for each character.

I’m sure this is the kind of book to raise the ire of those who think books are corrupting our youth. But this story is about inclusion, friendship, individuality, and even capitalism, lol! Mikey Pruitt is a fabulous character and the story is more than a rainbow ode! The lessons are plentiful and Michael Crouch’s command of voices of all genders, ages and dialects is unparalleled!

Theatre Nerds Rejoice! Fun, Funny and Fanciful!

If you love theatre, get this book. This is far-fetched, but things were different back in the day. I loved the premise, I loved the humor, the performance was outstanding, multiple voices. Just get it!

This series is phenomenal. This chapter focuses on my favorite, the Knight! I almost gave up in the first chapter of the first book, but so glad I stuck with it. And the Audio Bloopers in the end are the cherry on top!

I started the series when Audible plus had the first book available for free. I’m so glad I did. I really enjoyed the humor. The old-school sci-fi the technology the world building. Everything is just awesome. And stay tuned for the space bloopers at the end. These are unique and fun!
