I’ve read Crossing the Line as well, and while it stands strong on its own, it also beautifully complements Rosser’s journey through life, love, loss, and heartbreak. This book was a true page-turner—I found myself eagerly waiting for any free moment to dive back in and see what would happen next. It’s raw, real, and deeply moving. As a rehab nurse, I especially appreciated how it sheds light on the profound struggles faced by the families and loved ones of those with TBIs and while it’s important to care for the individual but that one’s own health needs to be a core focus as well. The last line of the book is such a great touch to bring his story full circle. Well done Kareem Rosser.

I felt this book was educational and gave me a better perspective on relapse. I did appreciate the stories of multiple people of the Appalachia mountain area to show that there is a life behind the addicts. I feel more fit to sympathize with my
Patients and offer support to them that’s supported by facts.
