Had potential

Honestly, my favorite part of this book was the cover and the reason I ended up finally caving and buying it because it was relentlessly suggested. The cover is deep and heartrending and speaks to a meaningful story, but I was left wanting. It felt like any character development was lazy and throw away, I felt like I didn’t know or care about them as people. It also felt rushed, and predictable. I knew everything that was going to happen as it happened. I’ve read one book by this author that I think I really loved, maybe a couple, I can’t remember which ones. But this one left me wanting.

Loved this book and have enjoyed a few others from this author. This book has a lot more prose and eloquence than I think I remember in her other books. It was lighter on the sex scenes which also added a bit more weight to the simple emotions of the moment and she did a great job getting us inside the characters heads. Can’t appreciate the one star reviews that give no feedback on what they disliked in the story, so ignore them. This was a good balance of cute and deep with a sprinkle of angst. I have more or less stopped reading m/f novels but I think I might give the next book a try.

Loved every second

Just wished it was longer :,( these boys stole my heart from book one, the whole gang is a compelling mishmash of misfits who carry each other through the hardships of life. Love all the partying and the balance of angst and love. Can’t wait for book 3 to come.

holy cow did I find a gem here, the raw pain of Easton’s grief is utterly devastating and beautiful. Cannon’s support and love and the slow build of their relationship just does EVERYTHING for me. Not to enticing, these are some of the best sex scenes I’ve ever read. Just because of their connection and pull toward one another. I loved every second of this and have officially fallen in love with this author CE Ricci. I’m off to go read the rest of their stuff now.

Love these books, I think you are truly my favorite author. Everything about your stories and the damaged, dynamic characters you create pull me in and keep me entertained. I’m on the edge of my seat, and the love between these couples is so palpable. Thank you for these wonderful worlds and sharing them with us all ❤️

Loved this book and will be looking at more from this author (authors?) The flow and characters grip you, the writing itself is really descriptive and gripping. I loved the push pull resistance of their relationship as it developed, and the idea that love can truly save you from just about anything. My only complaint is I wanted more of it, story was a little short for my taste, but that’s a personal preference. I just love getting good and immersed in a story when it’s this compelling. Definitely recommend.
