Where do I begin the voice actor's voice was annoying he sounded like a prebucent teen. The plot doesn't make sense the brother just wants to kill him before he even knew about his attributes. He wants to be the most powerful and take over the counsel with no backstory why.

It was kind of confusing. I felt like i was drugged the whole time and didn't know what was happening. also where was Oprah I must've missed her. the actors were good though better voice actors then most on here no tea no shade. I didn't rally vine with it but it's Juneteenth so I will support black authors. 3 stars

I should have loved this book but Aram being dumb and naive the whole book just doesn't sit right. The fact he was building social skills before the cellar than reverts back is not even the worst part. Then the friends that risked their lives to free him from the cellar with Marcus. Go to war and have no problem trying to kill them how does that make sense. Then the whole war how can you be at war but one side is at a huge disadvantage getting killed and slaughtered. Did the other side not know. This had potential but it fell far from the mark

Why I knew better and still felt for it. It was recommended but I figured out the first couple chapters after meeting Caelum was a FAE why else would the wild hunt not go after him. Estrella is the most annoying character ever with her whole I'm more than a pretty face routine. Then the sex who literally is having sex when you just escaped the Mist Guard and a Fae. Can't go two seconds without some sex act. This book could have been so much better and there are 2 more of these horrible books

Crying about something trying to kill you is dumb

Erin the main protagonist is a whiny character. The fact that you went into depression from defending yourself from a goblin chief says it all. I like the side characters more than the main who seem to have no sense and cry and whine all the time.

The backstop and progression where he becomes the villain he hated is awesome. Diego awakening to his father not keeping his promise adds depth to his actions in FarCry 6

I loved this series, and I was finally able to find an author who has paid attention. I have been listening to other audible series where the continuity is off, books contradict each other, and the main characters are poorly developed. This series has restored my faith that an author can develop main characters and have continuity are still out there. Thank you
