Decent story….
Revisado: 03-04-23
Read all of Jack Ryan, gives a bit more background on Jr - Ending lacked the closure I prefer, but any book narrated by Scott Brick is a pleasure to listen to.

Historia
A drone-based terrorist attack in Israel kills dozens on a sun-splashed beach in Caesarea as America awakens to the shattering news that Vice President Stephanie Davenport has died of an apparent heart attack. That same morning, a chance encounter on the Washington Metro results in international private investigator Robert Brixton thwarting an attempted terrorist bombing. Brixton has no reason to suspect that the three incidents have anything in common - until he’s contacted by Kendra Rendine, the Secret Service agent who headed up the vice president’s security detail.

Narrator was horrible
Revisado: 01-19-23
Story was not as good as they use to be and it was extremely painful listening to the narrator, she made character voices like she was reading for toddlers, trying to deepen her voice for the male characters and lets not talk about the 85 yr old nun. When a book has predominately male characters, lets have a male narrator and just read we don’t need voice changes. I am female so don’t go “me to” on my review.

Historia
Big-time Boston hoodlum Julius Ventura wants to find his only daughter's missing husband—at least that's how he puts it to Spenser and Hawk, even though its pretty clear that Julius isn't telling the whole truth. Or maybe not any part of the truth. Something about the case appeals to Spenser's passion for justice, and he launches an odyssey that takes the tough-but-tender duo with their penchant for literary allusions into the netherworld of organized crime.

Narrator is difficult to tune out
Revisado: 06-12-21
Eventually Burt Reynolds narrates the main character satisfactorily; however his portrayal of the other characters is distracting, annoying and made the book almost impossible to listen to.
