I have always been a fan of paranormal cozy mysteries and I discovered Amanda M Lee by starting with Moonstone Bay. I then moved on to all of the other series that had crossovers with Moonstone Bay. I always hesitated to read Avery books because of the lack of paranormal elements but I have to say - I just adore her. Amanda M Lees is my favorite author and I have not read a single series of hers that I don’t love. As an avid reader / listener, I very much appreciate that she publishes a schedule of release dates and actually sticks to it. That’s so important to me as someone with a Perry type A personality. These are my escape; my happy place and I need them to be there when they’re supposed to be. I can’t say enough good things about her books, her writing, etc. The snark is hilarious, the quirkiness of the characters is endearing and I just really look forward to every new book in each series. For 2024, she was my top author in Audible and Kindle and as much as I read, that speaks volumes. If you’re on the fence, go for it. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. And thank you, Amanda, for providing me with my little bit of escapism from the craziness of the real world each month.

Such a great book!

I was very interested in reading this book after I listened to an interview with Lisa Marie’s daughter, Riley. Because I’m on the go a lot, I chose to get the audible version and I’m so glad I did. Hearing parts in Lisa Marie’s own words, her daughter’s narration and Julia Roberts’ was such a wonderful bonus to what turned out to be an amazing book.

Such a great story with wonderful characters

Danielle Garrett has been one of my favorite authors for years, so I was excited to read this new book, which is a different style than her usual ones. I have to say - it was SO GOOD. I loved the story, the setting, all of the new characters. I cannot wait for the other books in the series.

Amanda M Lee is, hands down, my favorite author. One of my favorite things about her writing is that she incorporates characters from other series. Not just the occasional crossover, which I do love, but keeps them involved. I love this whole universe she’s created and look forward to each new book as it comes out. It truly feels like catching up with old friends.

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the stories as well as the narration. Highly recommend to all fans of Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte. Even if you have not read or watched either, you will still enjoy these as there’s nothing that it would miss by not having read or watched them.

I love Historical fiction, but usually find myself reading and listening to books set during WWII, imperial Russia, etc. I chose this one on a whim and am very glad I did. All of the characters are wonderfully written, the story is great and the narration was superb. I’m happy to have discovered a new author and look forward to reading more of her works.

Ariel Lawhon is one of my favorite historical fiction authors and for good reason. If you enjoy historical fiction, in particular, WWII stories, you will enjoy this. It was a nice departure from the typical ones based in England or France. I also learned a lot. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
