I will cherish this experience my whole life

I love this book. If it were a physical book, I would give it a big hug. For several months, it has been my friend. I have looked forward to listening to it on my commutes like one looks forward to watching their favorite show. The characters and themes are so powerful and it’s presented in a way that grabs your attention and keeps you entertained the whole time. Also, the reader was second to none! He fit the style of the book flawlessly. If you’re looking for something to fill your soul, please give this one a chance.

He never ceases to fill my life with hope and wisdom

Jordan Peterson is an intellectual juggernaut. In all his books he compiles the best of philosophical and religious literature, scientific research, and his own experiences as a clinical psychologist into eloquent wisdom. Reading his books have truly changed my life for the better when I didn’t think I needed it.
I would recommend this book to anyone, but especially to those who wanted to read Maps of Meaning but thought it was too daunting. He takes some of the best of that book and makes them more concise and applicable.
If you listened to many of his 12 Rules lectures, much of this material will be review. I think he was lecturing about these topics at the same time he was writing about them. Either way, I think this book is valuable because you get his thoughts in their fully articulated form.

Absolutely life changing

This book has helped me understand society and my own religion more than any other book. It makes me happy and excited to participate in this great adventure called life.
The writing style is dense and difficult, to be sure. But once you get into the swing of it, it is very satisfying and full of wonderful insights.

It really doesn’t mater what you believe or think about Peterson, this book is filled with basic truth about life and existence. He’s not concerned with pushing an ideology or dogma. He’s on a higher plane, making insightful observations. Please give this book a chance. It will change your life.
