Narrator is awesome and these MC's are so well rounded. Growing up on a conservative catholic household, a teatre fan, an eagles fan and a big time soccer fan, like what else can you ask for? This book has those moments when you're sincerely crying and then you get one of those absurd laughs from what Emily just said, hilarious and intense. Thank you to the author I'm so happy I got to experience this book, and keep them coming!

Great story

I loved Haley Cass other books but I have to admit I was hesitant to buy this book due to the length of it, then I saw it was Anastasia Watley as the narrator and I had to admit that's how I decided it was the right call.

I enjoyed this book so much, the characters are settled into their dinamics I feel and it is the progression of their interactions what makes you come back for more. It's definitely the time the author gives in between, while always keeping us on the loop of what the character is experiencing, that makes the story strong, and sweet and lovely.

Awesome combination as always

For us Lee Winter/ Angela Dawe fans this is a no brainer, this has all the things we love, cute animals, great main characters, a good plot to take us on their journey to find love and a great cameo of our beloved Elena Bartell and the always charming Maddie.

I loved this books exploration of homeless people and their pets, and for once I love how this book made me yearn to give a hug and sympathize with a male character, coming from a very macho culture this is a great feat, hahahaha.

Anyway if you love cute animals, high functioning and emotionally/socially distant badass working women with a bit of sass on a journey of self discovery then this is a book for you. As a working woman in a male dominate area I love characters like this that apologize for little and just do so for those close to their hearts. This book only left me wanting to know more about this character I feel for her and understand her motivations and wish many times for the people around her to see beyond her prickly exterior and give her a hug.

I love this story

This book surprised me a lot. I enjoyed having an in into both MC back stories. I'm a big fan of this author of slowly stripping the protective layers of our queens, how the fit in this world and how unapologetic each of them are of their own ways.

The narration was great. I captured each character on their own light and was a true catalyzer of some of the more emotional story lines.

Great audiobook to listen on repeat

I love this book so much. The author constructed the story in such a way that there is never a boring moment. The main characters interactions are so good and it just such a beautiful way of developing the relationship. I really love Elena's need to keep the her moral grounds it's so good seeing characters with this level of commitment to who they are.

Funny and sweet

I really love the way the characters are build, stories are sweet and heartwarming. I like how she portraits healthy relationships with a little bit of drama, even when there are some strong emotions involved they are always a part of the internal struggle of each character instead of just pure drama allowing a really satisfying growth and natural development of the relationship.
