Would you listen to Betrayal again? Why?
I've already listened to Betrayal twice. It makes me feel hopeful.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Betrayal?
What I remember the most is when Hugh first told Julia he loved her. I almost cried.
Which scene was your favorite?
My favorite scene was when Julia and Hugh were at her place of worship, and he decided to reenact the children's story he used to read to his sisters. It made me laugh.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The moments of prayer seemed to move me the most, and the quoting of scripture.
Any additional comments?
I fully expect to listen to Betrayal again. It will always be a source of strength and encouragement for me. Thankfully it will always be with me as long as I have my faithful Kindle!

Historia
Following the stunning success of her high-spirited debut, Karen Witemeyer delivers this compelling blend of humor and romance. When Adelaid Proctor finds herself stranded in 1883 Texas, she’s hired by a British-born sheep rancher as governess for a daughter still grief-stricken over her mom’s death. As Adelaid gently draws the girl out of her shell of silence, the governess and sheep rancher, at first, resist their mutual attraction.

Family, Honesty, Loyalty & Trust!
Revisado: 08-29-12
Would you consider the audio edition of Head in the Clouds to be better than the print version?
Although I did not read the print version of Head in the Clouds, I can't imagine it being better than actually hearing the excitement and anticipation of the narrator's voice.
What did you like best about this story?
What I liked best is how the emphasis of the story seemed to be family love and trust. As long as people behave as a family, and think of themselves as a family, they ARE a family.
Which scene was your favorite?
Two scenes were my absolute favorite; first, when Adelaid realized that she was in love with Gideon, and second, when Gideon's daughter spoke for the first time. I almost cried!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I had a wide range of emotions with this book. Laughter, sorrow, anger, happiness, and ultimately satisfaction.
Any additional comments?
The audio version is definitely a must have because you will want to listen to it more than once!

Redemption isn't a word Jim Heron knows much about - his specialty is revenge, and to him, sin is all relative. But everything changes when he becomes a fallen angel and is charged with saving the souls of seven people from the seven deadly sins. Vin diPietro long ago sold his soul to his business, and he's good with that - until fate intervenes in the form of a tough-talking Harley-riding, self-professed savior.

Where the Heart Lives
Revisado: 02-04-12
Would you consider the audio edition of Belonging to be better than the print version?
Although I have not read the print version of Belonging, I cannot help but feel the audio version is the absolute best! The narrator,by adjusting her tone for each character, added excitement and enthusiasm to the story.
What other book might you compare Belonging to and why?
I might compare the book Belonging to a series I have thoroughly enjoyed called
What about Laural Merlington’s performance did you like?
I absolutely LOVED the voice of this narrator. It can only be described as genuine and true to each character's personality. Laural Merlington made the story come to life, and I honestly could not stop listening.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Though each chapter had its memorable moments, the moment that particularly moved me was when Felicia decided to take a walk alone to the foothills, just her and her bible at the river. She went there to pray and read, and get closer to God. I could visualize everythng this character described. The book of Mark is where she began to read from. It's something that I will remember most about the book.
Any additional comments?
I would definately recommend this book to anyone who has ever fealt like they were alone or unloved or unwanted. This book reinforces my belief that no matter who you are, where you're from, or what you've done, God always has a plan for your life, and a love for you like no other. He always has the answers and the means to ease your mind and help make your burdens a little lighter.
