He endured the disastrous first years when rockets blew up and the United States seemed to fall further behind the Soviet Union in the space race.

Great info BUT….

The information and the words are incredible!! Casting in the voice actor NOT GREAT!!!! You can tell just reading to get through the material very disappointed with the performance almost made it hard to finish!!! Audio quality TERRIBLE! Granted all of these are edited but the audio re dubs or pickups are AWFUL! Obviously used completely different post house or recording setup- it’s very distracting and along with the voice actor takes totally away from the book!

This show is great and sooo appropriate. Look I’m a 54 year old male and I loved it! It’s just not for kids EVERYONE any age should listen. The quality to this audio play is outstanding. The depth to the audio layers creates a full listening adventure that puts you in this stories world. I highly recommend for all and especially if any family members who have questions of current US politics this has a fun way to describe how it works.
