Historia
After investing much of his life in an unhappy marriage and an unfulfilling career, Dr. Joe Mix realizes that he made most of the important decisions of his life in order to please others, not himself. He married a woman he never loved because she had a stronger will than him. He chose a career that he wasn't interested in because he knew it was what his father expected of him. When the consequences of his wrong decisions threaten to smother him, Joe Mix finally snaps and decides to forsake all that he has done, and sets out to reclaim the life he feels he should have chosen.

painful
Revisado: 10-17-22
This was SO bad... desperately needed editing. clumsy bad phrases repeated often, painful descriptions of amorous thoughts and feelings. The idea of the story was fine, just poorly executed...

Historia
Thumbing across the scorched West Texas desert, loner Jack Reacher has nowhere to go and all the time in the world to get there. Cruising the same stretch of two-lane blacktop is pretty Carmen Greer. But for Reacher, the lift comes with a hitch. Carmen's got a story to tell, and it's a wild one. All about her husband, her family secrets, and a hometown that's pure Gothic. She's also got a plan. Jack Reacher's part of it. And before the sun sets, this ride could cost them both their lives.

Narrator impersonations severely grating...
Revisado: 10-28-16
Not his best book, the character of Carman is highly irritating as is Dick Hills impersonation of woman's voices. His child voice is unlistenable...
