there have been a lot of stories about abuse. these characters are hard and soft at the same time. the male character's understanding and support was not the norm and a testament to his upbringing

Narrator was good. I just wished they had a male counterpart. The storyline was incredible. I was upset with the heroine at many points. I absolutely fell in love with the male character. I loved how he introduced himself and how much he showed her how much he loved her. She was just so stubborn. Overall, I highly recommend this book. I don't believe I have read this author before, but not the last time.

The performances were ok for the given storyline. I only wish I hadn't spent my 1 credit for this book. I stuck it out hoping it would get better. I hate to be negative, but I am. This book seemed to have been written by a very young writer. not a mistake I'll make again. she's on my "not this author again" list. Next!

Short but sweet

This was the shortest short I've ever heard. I love the story and the characters. the whole 2.5 book series was so good. I really wanted to cry in book 2. It was a tear- jerker for sure. I love that it all turned out the way it was supposed to.

Moving and Stirring

If you've ever been someone who has gone through what this "character" went through, Good bless you, for getting out sooner rather than later. This story was so thought provoking and absolutely moved me to tears. I love happy endings. I wish every story had one. This was a bitter sweet. Colleen has done it again. Put words to paper that needed to be expressed.

I didn't have to read it twice. I wanted to read it again. Good book. The trials and tribulations of someone so insecure she would toss the love of her life.... I was hoping he would be the prevailing voice of reason and I was right.
