Not as raw as his other books
Revisado: 02-24-15
I found the story to be a little unique but with less of the grittiness you expect from a Joe Abercrombie.

Historia
Saker appears to be a simple priest, but in truth he's a spy for the head of his faith. Wounded in the line of duty by a Lascar sailor's blade, the weapon seems to follow him home. Unable to discard it, nor the sense of responsibility it brings, Saker can only follow its lead. The dagger puts Saker on a journey to distant shores, on a path that will reveal terrible secrets about the empire, about the people he serves, and destroy the life he knows.

Good story line
Revisado: 01-27-15
This story deviates a little from the norm with the love angle and the daggers intentions still a mystery. I wanted a little more action.

Good read nothing too exciting
Revisado: 01-04-15
This seem like the regular run of the mill fantasy with a kid discovering he's the long lost king or other. I'm hoping for more twists in the coming books and for the author to stop restating the same moral argument over and over. Yeah we get it evil is bad how could anyone in their right mind choose to do it, now get back to the story.

Historia
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

Well perfomed, A little short but entertaining
Revisado: 05-07-12
These books are a great but way too short. I love the main character but I wish there was a longer book giving more background information.
