Denise Gitsham uses her personal story of life in politics to show us how God worked through her and can work through us to forge relationship. It is wonderfully written and powerfully organized. I especially liked her Reflection and Prayer sections at the end of each chapter.
The narration was okay, though sometimes I really thought it was a computer rendition of the text. I had to check twice to confirm that this was a real person reading the book! Still, it was easy to listen and was not distracting from the content.
Thank you, Denise! This had a powerful impact on me and my friends!

I found Kimberley’s insight and analysis to be incredibly on target and relevant. I was thoroughly educated on the historical events and issues of the past 4 years, and I enjoyed her style and technique, keeping me so very interested throughout. And I thoroughly agree with her conclusion that our call is to more and consistent engagement with our representatives at all levels of government. It is indeed our right and privilege, and it is indeed our obligation!
Also, I found Dorothy Howell’s narration to be the perfect voice for this book, and her performance was one of the best I’ve ever heard! Dorothy, I’m now looking for other of your books!
