A dark yet descriptive journey through PTSD
Revisado: 12-27-20
Alyssa Love builds on her own personal trauma experience to tell a thrilling tale of coping with tragedy, PTSD, and guilt through vivid nightmares and lucid dreams. The book is full of evocative imagery and morbid symbols, guaranteed to affect the listener in chilling ways.
The narrator lends her sinister voice to the story, bringing the author's words to dark and twisted life.
"I Am Your Ghost" starts off in present tense narration, which was somewhat unnecessary. Fortunately, the author reverts to past tense after only a few chapters, making it much easier to listen to.
If someone you know is coping with tragedy, this audiobook is an entertaining yet informative way for any reader to begin to relate on the most basic level.

Left me wanting MORE!!
Revisado: 10-31-20
What can I say? This was an intriguing story, and I loved the radio-episode style of the audiobook, but just when I got hooked on it, IT ENDED! The entire story was less than three hours.
Probably some of the best three hours I've ever listened to, though. I'm an occasional member of some storytelling circles and clubs, and this author/narrator has some great potential, in my opinion.
The main character visits a strange village in the middle of winter, and each episode describes a new eerie situation. I listened to a few episodes every night as I was getting ready for bed, instead of trying to draw it out by listening to just one episode each night. Because of that, the story was over much too soon.
Four stars just because it's too short. Don't let that stop you from trying it out, though. You don't want to miss this one.
