I could never tell where and when we were located in the boo: it jumped around too much. The narrator was uninspiring, and pronounced at least two words incorrectly. Don’t they have a method to correct that? I didn’t realize how dull she was until Patton Oswalt began reading and suddenly I was right there.

Great topic and yes her writing was limpid. Too bad she didn’t have the mental health support necessary to keep healthy enough to finish the book. She was an amazing writer, and a stunning researcher.

Y’a trop sturm und drang, trop de longues confessions quand on a hâte de résoudre les événements. Mes sentiments sensibles ne s’en sortent pas de la souffrance non-méritée de Sirius et il n’est jamais découpabilisé à ma satisfaction. Aussi, j’ai toujours eu un petit faible pour Severus Snape (Roque) et ce n’est pas une historie qui lui flatte—au grand contraire.

Deep thinking

It’s so hard to write positive critique, but here it is: fantastic thinking, deep insight, kind and gentle view about human need, desire and frailty. Between the horrid religionists who gatekeep God and the angry scientific atheist who want life to be devoid of all mystery, pleasure or wonder there’s a tiny space that still has flavor, savor and meaning, and this is that space that Monsieur de Bottom has written about. May we all eat in agape homes.

Adequate reading, by a man whose gentle voice well befits the author’s gentle voice, with the occasionally odd pronunciation, but I will not point out in which cases because received English is not, of course, my native dialect.

Good information but pah! What a blowhard

This guy is great. The only thing that stoped him from solving all the problems of the universe is the fact that so many people stood in his way, and so many other people took credit for his work. No, seriously, this book would’ve been fantastic except Ressler was so busy bragging, boasting, and complaining about others that I grew tired of him. Why didn’t his co-writer tell him to cool it? Maybe they assumed that people who read this kind of book need to be beaten over the head with accolades.

Too bad!
