Historia
Thanks to technology, we live in a world that’s much more comfortable than ever before. But here’s the paradox: Our tolerance for discomfort is at an all-time low. And as we wrestle with a sinking "discomfort threshold", we increasingly find ourselves at the mercy of our primitive instincts and reactions that can perpetuate disease, dysfunction, and impair performance and decision making.

Not as good as I was expecting

A lot of self promotion. Good tips at the end though. Very slow reading speed.

Historia
Colonel Chris Hadfield has spent decades training as an astronaut and has logged nearly 4000 hours in space. During this time he has broken into a Space Station with a Swiss army knife, disposed of a live snake while piloting a plane, and been temporarily blinded while clinging to the exterior of an orbiting spacecraft. The secret to Col. Hadfield's success - and survival - is an unconventional philosophy he learned at NASA: prepare for the worst and enjoy every moment of it.

Good story!

I really liked the story. The narration wasn't fluid at times but overall worth it.

Impressed
Revisado: 08-30-17
I'm very impressed with this series. I will admit there were parts I wanted to throttle the main character for her drama/whining but overall the story was great. I listened to all three books in a row and didn't mind the narrator change in this one.

Wanted it to be better
Revisado: 05-06-17
I was excited after listening to the first book, but this one was a struggle. it reminded me a lot of the 2nd Twilight book where it was a lot of self pity, whining and teenage angst by the main character. I'm really hoping the 3rd one is better.

I found the journal at work. Well, I don't know if you'd call it work, but that's where I found it. It's the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans.

Great story for those nerds/geeks who grew up in the 80's or who like 80's culture. I read the book first (which I recommend) and loved listening to it... and will probably enjoy it a couple more times in the future.
