Worth the listen!

I went into this with an open mind and was not disappointed. As others have said, no sugar coating, no telling you what you want to hear. I enjoyed the no BS delivery. It felt like a real conversation that makes you really consider your role in a relationship.

Amazing as usual!

If you have never listened to or read any books written by Karin Slaughter you must do yourself a favor and do it, now! This book did not disappoint. I would recommend reading Pieces of Her first, but it isn’t necessary. I just felt more invested after having read the other book prior.

This is one of my favorite Authors and I’m so happy she’s continued to use Kathleen Early for narration because she is the best of the best!

Decent Short Listen

The story was a bit slow at first, I assume this was to really develop the characters, but I did almost give up on it at one point. I held out because it had potential and the narrator was pretty good.

Overall I found the plot well thought out and I did enjoy the listen after the first several chapters. It was a shorter listen but intriguing, I would recommend this if your looking for something to fill a gap.

OMG Noah is seriously the ultimate Character. I’m so mesmerized by Meagan’s characters and stories. Do yourself a favor and read/listen to this book.

The Queen has created the perfect ending for our beloved Madship. I put this off for so long not wanting it to end but I’m pleased to say that i have no feelings of yearning for more. If you are like me and putting it off, don’t! Can’t wait for the next generation. 🖤

Penelope never disappoints! We want what we want

Not sure why I waited so long. Will has always been my favorite and his story did not disappoint. 😍 I just love how she develops characters and how easy it is to ride the train of emotions that her stories take you on. If your debating reading the book, but you’ve read the authors work before then definitely go for it. If your new to the author, read them in order for the best experience but definitely give them a shot.

Perfect!

I really enjoy LJ Shens writing, she is one of the Authors that I either read or listen to all of their work. This story was another great one that did not disappoint and that I would highly recommend. I enjoyed both Narrators, although Christian’s female impersonation isn’t great I fully enjoy him narrating the male parts!

Captivating

Imagining that others take book reviews as seriously as I do before choosing, I thought I'd leave my thoughts of this audio book. First of all I thoroughly enjoy listening to Suzy Jackson, I feel she does a wonderful job at bringing the characters to life. Secondly, I did quite enjoy this book. It was entertaining at all times and left me wondering what was next. It is one of those books that as its progressing you think you know what is to come next or why something has happened to in turn come to find out that it was not what you had envisioned. Great book, I'd highly recommend it to anyone!
