Historia
Only the extraordinary belong in the kingdom of Ilya—the exceptional, the empowered, the Elites. The powers these Elites have possessed for decades were graciously gifted to them by the Plague, though not all were fortunate enough to both survive the sickness and reap the reward. Those born Ordinary are just that—ordinary. And when the king decreed that all Ordinaries be banished to preserve his Elite society, lacking an ability suddenly became a crime—making Paedyn Gray a felon by fate and a thief by necessity.

Engaging from the beginning!
Revisado: 04-23-25
Couldn’t put it down, can’t wait to listen to the next one! The characters are great and the description’s paint a colorful scene that could probably translate well to a mini series.

Historia
In the early 2000s, after years of hard work and determination to breakthrough as an actor, Bethany Joy Lenz was finally cast as one of the leads on the hit drama One Tree Hill. Her career was about to take off, but her personal life was slowly beginning to unravel. What none of the show’s millions of fans knew, hidden even from her costars, was her secret double life in a cult. An only child who always wanted a place to belong, Lenz found the safe haven she’d been searching for in a Bible study group with other Hollywood creatives. However, the group soon morphed into something more sinister.

Growing up in a cult, I can relate!
Revisado: 03-08-25
Thank you Bethany for so Bravely telling your story! I hope and pray this reaches so many in similar situations and helps them to get out!! A must read! Getting this story out there to as many as possible. To those who have family or friends they have lost to a cult, the grooming, brainwashing and manipulation is real. Get this story out there! It is well written and well read! Kudos Bethany Joy! May God bless you and your daughter abundantly all your days.

Historia
At age 40, Parker surrendered to her Swept Away meets Swiss Family Robinson fantasy of owning an inn in Latin America, far from her home in the Pacific Northwest. For the next 20-plus years Parker ran La Finca Caribe, an eco-lodge in Vieques, Puerto Rico. What started as a “half-baked duct-taped dream” grew into an acclaimed, rustic inn, frequented by guests from around the world. Sketchbook in hand, Parker chronicled her daily adventures in getting to know the land, culture and herself.

Wonderful!
Revisado: 03-22-23
La Finca is a true story of love, loss, determination and the reward of following one’s dream no matter what obstacles are thrown in your way. For anyone who dares to dream, there is reward at the end. I have the pleasure of knowing the author a little bit, better now after hearing her voice read me her incredible story. Most of us would have given up on our dream after the first setback but not she. The author lays it all out there for us to imagine, the good, the bad and the ugly. The raw emotion, I couldn’t put it down or rather stop listening. We should all dare to dream. Bravo Corky!

One of the best books I’ve ever read!
Revisado: 05-03-20
This is one of those books that’s hard to put down and one you wish would keep going when you get to the end. So well written and descriptive. You get lost in the picture the author paints as if the scene was playing out right in front of you! The narration is Wonderful! If it were a movie, Oscar worthy! It makes you want to squeeze your babies and grand babies tight and never let go. No child should ever have to see the likes of anyone like Georgia Tann or an child trafficker.
