Historia
Neil Douglas-Klotz, bestselling author of Prayers of the Cosmos and The Hidden Gospel, brings together forty years of research to update his pioneering work on the Lord's Prayer and the Beatitudes. Through expansions of Aramaic's multiple meanings as well as guided contemplations, The Aramaic Jesus Book of Days provides a guide to transformation through the way of the prophet. It shows how the deepest teachings of Jesus address contemporary challenges, such as our relationships with nature and each other, as well as the purpose of life itself.

Light encapsulated in daily practice
Revisado: 05-08-25
I have felt a deep connection with Neil Douglas Klotz’s work on Aramaic Jesus, Sufi stories & Names of God. The depth of research and embodied practices in all of his work is light shared in digestible ways. This book takes a different approach and brings together his work on words of Jesus in Aramaic in a way that is just as enjoyable to read like a book, or use as a daily oracle/ messenger. He finds the common threads and weaves them together like poetry. The body prayers, the breath work, the Aramaic words. I’ll be returning to this gem and highly recommend it to any seeker of love, light and a way that is inspired and yet still personal.

Historia
In the ancient city of Nineveh, on the bank of the River Tigris, King Ashurbanipal of Mesopotamia, erudite but ruthless, built a great library that would crumble with the end of his reign. From its ruins, however, emerged a poem, the Epic of Gilgamesh, that would infuse the existence of two rivers and bind together three lives. In 1840 London, Arthur is born beside the stinking, sewage-filled River Thames. With an abusive, alcoholic father and a mentally ill mother, Arthur’s only chance of escaping destitution is his brilliant memory.

Beautiful storytelling
Revisado: 01-27-25
An homage to life itself, and the many human beings across time and space, all connected by water. Life-giving water. Elif Shafak is inspired and her writing comes from the heart, naturally touching the hearts of those who read/ listen. My hope is that this book wakes us up to the important role water plays in all of our lives, and about the human condition especially of those often overlooked as “others”, who are just another me and another you.

Truth in Fiction
Revisado: 10-26-24
Elif writes fiction that mirrors the world of reality. Laila’s story is the story of many women, violated by the very ones who promised to protect her. Treated without regard, and then blamed for bringing shame to the ones who are shameful in character but more honorable and valued by society. Run-aways who create a family of their own in a world that is cruel, a reprieve, a love story with many true loves.

Historia
The now widely known map of calibrated levels of consciousness was presented in Power vs. Force in 1995 and has been translated into all the world's major languages. This was followed by The Eye of the I (2001), I: Reality and Subjectivity (2003), and Truth vs. Falsehood (2005), which explored the levels of truth reflected throughout society. Transcending the Levels of Consciousness returns to the exploration of the ego's expressions and inherent limitations and gives detailed explanations and instructions on how to transcend them.

Historia
Throughout most of evolution humans walked barefoot and slept on the ground, largely oblivious that the surface of the Earth contains limitless healing energy. Science has discovered this energy as free-flowing electrons constantly replenished by solar radiation and lightning. Few people know it, but the ground provides a subtle electric signal that maintains health and governs the intricate mechanisms that make our bodies work - just like plugging a lamp into a power socket makes it light up.

Grounding/earthing is explained and explored both from an anecdotal and scientific research lens. Inspired me to use grounding sheets I had purchased a while ago, and I feel the benefits of good sleep and recover well from daily aches/ fatigue.

Connecting the dots…
Revisado: 11-19-23
I love the scientific approach, and the concept here. Deep down, we all know this truth and somehow we’ve gotten lost in the divisiveness of today’s society. This serves as a timely and necessary reminder of what oneness and life’s sanctity truly mean.

May we all become peaceful warriors
Revisado: 10-18-22
Dan Millman has a distinct style of story telling. In his own words, it’s “part autobiography and part fiction”. It’s wholly wise, and full of metaphors that can be understood through our own life experiences as well. Being a writer myself, I know this isn’t an accident. Sharing our life’s story and lessons is vulnerable and the highest form of teaching. I’m very grateful to have stumbled upon this gem and to have found my way back to it time and again, each time meeting deeper aspects of myself and the teacher himself.

The familiar reality is the physical one-percent material realm in which we live, yet there is another dimension the world beyond our five senses. According to Kabbalah, this is called the 99-percent realm. Everything we truly desire: love, joy, peace of mind, freedom, inspiration, and answers are available when we connect to the 99-percent reality. The problem is that most of us have inadvertently disconnected ourselves from this dimension. Imagine if we could access this source at will, and on a continuing basis. This is the power of Kabbalah.
