I could not finish listening. After one hour, I got fed up with "boundaries" being repeated over and over again. Welcome to America! Set boundaries. Build concrete walls. Lock yourself in a prison cell and be happy that noone interferes with your sense of Self, nobody affects your emotions, nobody touches you, nobody feels you. And then, people ask why there are so many lonely people in this country. It is because it is all about boundaries (and money). It is interesting that the author mentions in the beginning that the notion of boundaries was overdone in this country in the past, and then she proves that no, it is still overdone but it is all about boundaries. The narration is also not the best. I am so happy that this book was included in the library and I did not have to buy it! It probably teachers how doctors address this problem, but I totally do not like how it is presented. Everything is good in moderation. I am not going to finish this book. Enough is enough.

i thought it was about "being in the zone" like in sports. it turned out, it is about our ego which is presented as something that livss on our own and opposed to the spirit. it felt very weird to me, and I did bot like the presentation either. could not tolerate for more than half an hour.

This book is very well presented, I like the voice of the person who reads it. From this book, we learn that:

* 50 years ago there was almost no cancer
* vaccinations are awful and poison the body
* all modern diagnostic techniques are very bad for health
* medical doctors and pharmaceuticals conspired against population to prevent them from getting healthy
* If everyone would have health insurance, like in most developed countries, everyone gets into the hands of pharmaceutical conspiracy instead of using natural methods of healing (which those who have no insurance and no money have to defer to).
* Medical treatment of cancer does not heal anyone, in contrast, it poisons the body. The same applies to any medical treatment from any decease.
* Cancer is good for our body and is a natural healing mechanism from stress or toxins.
* Some natural healers can make a sizeable tumor disappear in 20 seconds. The author saw it himself on live ultrasound.
* All scientific articles are wrong
* Since they are wrong, no need to reference them (except a few chosen ones which the author likes). Like "seminal article" by Ulrich Abel which he wrote after studying over thousand of articles. Well, for some reason this article on 13 pages has only 140 references, not over a thousand, and was barely noticed in the world of science. Ulrich Abel, as you can find, was a statistician by education.

About half of the book promotes these ideas. The second half of the book promotes a healthy way of living - eat olive oil, avoid stress, etc., and promotes the idea that cancer is a great thing because it is a healing mechanism and it causes no harm to our body... until it causes harm.

The part of the books which I found provoking and stimulating thought process is the question why cancer appears, why human body who successfully dealt with cancer cells all of a sudden allows a tumor to grow, is there a hidden meaning in it, is there something that we do not understand, is there something that we can do better. There are no answers to these questions in the book, at least, no scientifically justified answers, but a lot of things to think about.

The life story of the author is quite interesting. He studied natural healing methods his whole life, and refused to use modern medical science. Reportedly, according to statement from his family, he passed away from a failure of heart valve, which could be easily surgically treated, but he refused to even consider such option. You can feel this spirit in his book. There is only one way and only one way of thinking and no alternatives.
