Same book, read by different actor

I expected that these audiobooks would bring a new dimension to the story, but it just sounds like the same book read by multiple actors. It’s the same narration just a different reader. It’s a OK filler if you’re dying of impatience for the next book, but it’s very disappointing for me

#re-record After the brilliance of iron gold and dark age for them to just go with one voice actor is very disappointing. It feels like when a show knows it’s going to make its money so it no longer cares about the product. I love Tim Gerard Reynolds. But I was connected to the characters that you created. I wanted to spend time with them again I waited years for this book, and it is a supreme disappointment. But only for this reason, the story as usual is good. I just hope this isn’t a sign of the series going the way of Game of Thrones where they thought their audience was just built in and wouldn’t leave no matter what they throughout.

First book was great and this one got better. Great new story wish I could’ve connected with them more emotionally sooner in the book but it was made up for in the end

Great until…

This performance was excellent, right up to chapter 9 where it turned into this acid trip fever dream undirected melodrama. You know like when Glenn die in The Walking Dead, and then the whole show just went off the rails. Kinda like that but on acid in space. I do have to say though the reason I still give it 4 Starz is because the ending was stilling actually quite good.

Great but where’s the rest of it

They started this great story, and I’ve been waiting want two years for them to continue it. Very frustrating. Don’t start what you can’t finish. Ends terribly because it never ended.

Long and very satisfying
