Historia
In Dr. Mark McConville's decades of experience as a family clinical psychologist, perhaps no problem has been more fraught than that of young adults who fail to successfully transition from adolescence into adulthood. These kids - technically adults - just can't get it together: They can't hold a job, they struggle to develop meaningful relationships, and they often end up back in their parents' spare bedroom or on the couch. In fact, studies show that one in four Americans aged 25 to 34 neither work nor attend school - a problem that spans all socioeconomic and geographic boundaries.

Relevant to what we are experiencing
Revisado: 05-29-23
There were so many similarities identified in the book that we are experiencing with our 21 year old son. the book helped my husband and I understand his situation and make adjustments in our understanding and rules we needed to create. highly recommend. we are still waiting for our son to Launch, but now celebrate small changes he is making to get him moving in the right direction. We had to stop nagging him and let him figure it out, that is the hardest and most frustrating change we had to make.

Historia
There are many books out there to teach you how to handle your children after they graduate from diapers, but none tells you how to proceed once they graduate from high school. As new patterns emerge in the lives of young adults, parents find that their grown children have bigger problems than they did just a few years ago. How to Raise Your Adult Children is a manual for anxious moms and dads.

I could not bear to finish listening
Revisado: 05-26-23
Very disappointed I wasted a credit on this audiobook. Feels like wealthy women getting together to write a book with useless information to make money.

Historia
In recent years, intermittent fasting - restricting calorie intake for a set number of hours or days - has become an increasingly popular diet strategy. While some in the medical community initially dismissed the idea as a dangerous fad, recent research not only validates the safety of fasting for weight loss but also offers compelling evidence of wide-ranging health benefits, from reversal of diabetes and other metabolic disorders to enhanced cognitive function and increased longevity.

Informative from three perspectives
Revisado: 02-08-23
I enjoyed the balance of three perspectives. I learned so much more about my journey of intermittent fasting. The content and delivery kept my attention.
