A story worthy of classic pulp novels with a furry twist. Lucius Anoraq is a Husky PI who finds himself embroiled in the seedy underbelly of an alternate America where leopards, jaguars, bunnies, and bears take the place of humans in a satisfying short tale of extortion, blackmail, and murder. Definitely scratches the itch for a good hardboiled detective story if that's your thing. Narrator James Scott Spaid does a great job of bringing all the characters to life.

Surprisingly Human

I was amazed at how quickly I came to care about Bob. By the end of chapter 1 I already felt a connection to the character. Each version is different enough to feel like a separate character. Wonderfully written.
