Good history, but too much repeat from prior books

A great overview of American history

Combining an expert in colonial and revolutionary America with the foremost authority on the Civil War and a British citizen turned American historian is simply brilliant. The melding of these three perspectives provides a complex overview of America from its founding through the Clinton era. A great refresher or first look for anyone.

Excellent history of Nazi Germany

If you could sum up The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich in three words, what would they be?
Extensive history of Nazi Germany. The narration is excellent and the historical references really helped make it come alive.
Have you listened to any of Grover Gardner’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This performance was different. The last one I listened to (North and South) had many characters that he able to develop. I still enjoyed it very much.
