My children (ages 3 and 5) love The Secret of the Hidden Scrolls series. It is similar to The Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osbourne, but this series is rooted in adventures based on historical stories with a biblical worldview. This book is full of imagination of what it would be like during the days of Noah. This is a great addition to an audiobook collection or even in paperback as a read-aloud for the family.

Personally, I think some of Beatrix Potter's stories are odd, but the narrator in this audiobook has my 5 year old in stitches when he does the voices - especially Mrs. Tiggywinkle. We just can't get enough of her name. The narrator does voices and is engaging for a young audience.

I am always looking for good stories for my kindergartener. Sometimes themes and plots are too mature, but this true story was a perfect addition to our audiobook collection. The narration is clear and engaging.

Engaging Story (My Kindergartener loves it!)

I know I've read Charlotte's Web before but apparently I forgot how warming, endearing and imaginative this story is. Each of the characters is so well developed and their personality shines through each line. The narration by E.B. White at first seems like it will be bland and monotone, but there is something soothing and smooth about his voice that makes farm life seem intriguing.

My Kindergartener enjoys this audiobook. Charlotte does die in the end and my 5 year old knows the sadness, but where there is death, there is life! The story does not end with Charlotte and has a great ending.

The most recent movie follows the book pretty closely too. I was surprised.
