Great conclusion

What a great story! My only very small disconnect was that all of my recent Jason Clarke listens have been with him portraying a “creepy” character, so I kept waiting for the recordings that Rowan was making to indicate that he was some sort of creep. I’m glad that he did not turn out that way, and the story was very well written. This is a beautiful ending to a very emotional duet.

This was a quick listen, a short fun story. I enjoyed it, and look forward to reading other works by this author

The narration wasn’t my favorite, as it seemed like there is a bit of background noise and mouth noise at some points during the recording. But it was not enough to take me out of the story.

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed Kristen’s storytelling, as I normally do. Generally, I will read her stories on the day that they released. But I waited to listen to this one until I had time because of the song bites that I had heard we’re a part of it. Not sure that enhanced the experience enough to where I’m glad I bought the audiobook instead of the e-book. But it was still an enjoyable story! Great narration by Joe Arden, and Emma Wilder as always.

I’m invested!

Fantasy is not my jam! I cannot read it. I have to listen. This book was getting so much hype, but the original narration was not great (she had a cold). I’m so glad the author had it re-recorded. I was invested! I still am, bc damn the cliffhanger! It’s not an awful one like I’ve heard, but it left me wanting more. Listen to a story about dragon riders and enjoy the world that Rebecca Yarros so vividly puts you into in Fourth Wing!

Fascinating!

I never would have thought that a historical fiction/romance would become a favorite listen, but Amy Harmon has spun a beautiful tale, based in much truth, set during the Revolutionary War. The details are fascinating and the narration unmatched. A Girl Called Samson is not to be missed.

Heartbreakingly beautiful.

Sometimes I wake up in the night and can’t fall back asleep immediately, so I’ll listen to my current book for a little until I doze off. Last night was one of those nights. But rather than dozing, I cried, and cried again, and cried some more. What am amazing listen.

If you’re looking for the strong heroine that has her life together, this collection of Novellas is not for you. But if you’re just looking for a fun series of stories about dating mishaps along the way of Chloe finding her happily ever after, it’s an enjoyable lesson.

Rob Shapiro telling Amy Harmon’s stories will always be one of my favorite combinations! Even if I could devour the words much more quickly by reading, I’ll always listen. Brilliant story! I loved everything about it!
