wonderful story

I just love Siora and Garreck! This book kept me on the edge of my seat with all the hunting and sneaking around, and so much happened in the end! I was happy to see Halani and Malachus again. I liked how subtlety all 3 stories were connected. It was a great ending. I'm hoping to get glimpses in future books of what happens to this empire.

Great Story

I loved this book! Tak and Hope are a great couple! I can't wait to see how they build up the pack. I really liked Tak. He was so understanding and supportive. I really enjoyed that while he was alpha, he was a jokester and jovial. I liked that he was always laughing but serious when he needed to be. He really ade the story for me. I enjoyed Hope's firey side and laughed when she whipped that bear with the purse strap. I also kind of liked that Hope was like Lorenzo. Once she accepted what she wanted she wouldn't settle for less. It was great story and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to see who joins the pack!

Good story good voice actor

I loved this story! I really love Averys bravery. She's so willing to lay down her life for children and I loved how protective she was over the people she healed. I am very intrigued by the aspect of the peace and death lilies. A small part of me is hoping that Flea is going to be reincarnated or come back to life. I was so sad when he died. I wasn't expecting him to die, it came out of no where.
I'm so happy to see her with Karrick. Even though he did slap her in the beginning. I do feel like he made up for it though. I think his connection to the forest is super cool and how he taught his men to blend into he forest.
I'm very much looking forward to the next book.
Voice actor was great and had distinct voices for each character

Kind of rushed but good start to a story

I really disliked the voice actor for this book. She was too high pitched and I didn't care for her male voices. I think mybissue with the voice actor had an impact on how I felt about the story.
I feel sort of iffy about this one. I liked where the story was headed but I felt like it was too rushed. I didn't like how the Jessa would be all tough and badass then have these strange disconnected moments of feeling like a silly girl.
I didnt really connect with the Compass Brothers. Other than being her protectors I didn't really get anything about them. They had all this cool magic and Jessas surprise of not really knowing how capable they were, even though they had been bffs for ever, was strange for me as well. Why would she not know how truly powerful they were?
I also thought it was kind of weird that the guy who had hidden her mark as a child was interested in pursuing her.

That ending!

Holy hotness spaceman! That ending had me on the edge of my seat!
Spoilers from here on out hopefully they don't show up while scrolling.
The voice actors are good =) the bring the story to life










I'm hoping that Dante doesn't blame Ryder for Elise getting stabbed. I hope this ending drives them, Ryder and Dante, to team up. I hope they lay Felix the fuck out in the next book.
This book was good and had me laughing all the way through. The way Elise jacked Rorey right in front of everyone was great. And I think it kind of makes sense why Leon is okay with sharing Elise. He grew up with three moms and there for kind of understand the dynamics even though they are reverse. That was a cool scene. I like how Elise lifted him up in front of his family.
I'm looking forward to the next book and while it's looking like it could be Dante or Ryder who killed Gareth I don't think it is. I think they all probably learned he was working for the other and of course Gabriel found out he was blackmailing him. They all probably took their turn beating him up and threatening him then cut him off. I think he got desperate and went to someone else who killed him.
Can't wait for book 3 =) I'm also hoping book 5 comes out on audio soon!

Good mystery

I put this in my to read list a while ago and I guess I hadn't realized it is set in a high school setting. But I enjoyed it. I like Elise and I'm glad that she hasn't chosen just one guy. I'm really hoping that none of the guys are involved in Gareth's death. I feel like Ryder is probably been asked to kill Dante or Elise or Gabriel. 🤔 I feel like Laney or Cindy Lou are responsible for Gareth's death.
I didnt mind that a lot of her talk is inner diagolue. I mean she can't exactly go spouting out to any of the guys about her true intentions or who she is looking for. I feel like the Kepling brother probably know something. I like the mystery going on.
I'm not usually a fan of reverse harems but I'm enjoying this one probably because it isn't surrounded by her just having sex with all of them and them some how just being okay with it when they are all used to having what they want exclusivly. I like the relationship building. She's getting to know each and they are getting to know her.
I also like the different perspectives and that we also get to see Gareth's pov before his death. The suspense is keeping me going even though it is a little drawn out but I'm not really minding. Good mysteries aren't solved in a week or two, especially with very little leads. I'm curious and will continue on.
I'm listening to these stories and the voice actors are great.

Great story

I'm really loving the deviation from damsel in distress and near death experiences! Aspen can hold her own and Camden isn't over bearing by making her stay behind. She can hold her own and he knows it. I'm also really happy that it isn't the jealous ex lover plotting their downfall or helping the true villain get to them. I loved how they were both afraid the other didn't see them the way they did and how surprised they bothnwere to find out how much they loved each other and wanted to try mating. Great story and Samantha Cook does a great job narrating.

Good, Dark, and Sad

This was my second read/listen of this book, and I feel like I didn't realize how dark and sad it was when I first read this. Roughly about 10 years has passed between reads. The voice actor was great. I just didn't realize how much power Arty had when I first read this. Even before he really took over, Ollie was totally devoted to him. Chick too after he grew up a bit. I think Ellie would have been if she didn't have Effie. I also had realized Arty had a huge cult following. I wonder what happened to the followers who weren't part of the end scene that decimated the Circus. This book is full of dark twists and turns that I thought I saw coming but didn't.

Loved this story

I still don't know why Recee was so upset with Angel over leaving the battle all those centuries ago I was super annoyed he was part of the reason that the merry band of a holes shunned her. However, I was very happy to see them finally connect. I was so bummed with Alistor! Definitely wasn't expecting that. I wish she would have gone a little more into their past since they were best friends. They must have had a ton of adventures and I wish they would have gone I to that as they were sailing across the desert. I'm really looking forward to Simon and Luciens story.

So Gooooood!

Gabrielle Baker is a great voice actor and really brings the story to life. That being said I think I love Serovek and Anhuset more than I love Brishen and Ildiko! I loved every bit of this story and man did it hit me in feels. The ribbon stuff was such a poke in the heart. Anhuset is so strong and I loved that Serovek was not diminished at all by her. They really do make a great team. I was also glad we got to see the softer side to Anhuset, like seeing her examine her changing feelings toward Serovek. I also freaking loved their banter. It had me chucking all through the book. There is so much that happens in this book and I am very excited to see where the Wraith Kings end up.
