As a professional substance abuse counselor I welcome books that can explain the opioid epidemic in layman’s terms. However, the level at which this book spoon feeds information to its audience is downright condescending. Add to that the author’s preponderance to paint Barack Obama as an apologist and enabler of Big Pharma and Donald Trump as the story’s hero would be laughable if not so pathetic. This is in addition to much of the information being misleading or flat out wrong. Ben Westhoff is one of the many hacks today who is attempting to profit off the opioid epidemic. He would be doing everyone a service by going back to writing about Rap music.

Known as the American gentleman, the Boston terrier always appears to be ready for sophisticated fun. But owning one can come with its own set of unique challenges for an owner who is unprepared for the quirks and personality of this lovable, but often mischievous breed. Written by experienced author and dog owner Vanessa Richie, The Complete Guide to Boston Terriers is an excellent overview of the breed, covering everything a new owner will need to know to successfully raise their BT.

Very Little Useful Information
Revisado: 11-11-20
“The Complete Guide to Boston Terriers” seemed more like a 9th grade essay than a professionally written reference. Except for something me very brief history of the breed at the beginning of the book there was almost no information that was specific to Boston Terriers. The information that was provided was so basic and obvious that it made the book seem almost childlike. I am preparing to receive my first Boston Terrier later this month and have received much more useful information from a few YouTube videos. Glad I paid for the book (relatively inexpensive) instead of using a monthly Audible credit.
