Historia
In just seven days, the world will crumble. The System's Descent will usher in a new era of chaos: wild animals mutating, monstrous creatures emerging, and the cessation of modern technology. Humanity will be left defenseless. Drew Wright knows none of this. At least not until he is rudely ripped from his bed and thrust into a white room to undergo a taser-happy ‘Tutorial’. Turns out, he is one of a thousand randomly selected people to be forewarned of the approaching apocalypse. Now, he faces the delightful task of convincing his wife and mother of the devastation hurtling towards them.

The sheer amount of luck is insane.
Revisado: 05-29-24
Dude has more luck than anyone, except maybe master chief and even that is debatable. And we all know how annoying that was. I don’t think there’s a single thing at least in the first half of the book that I could say wasn’t a result of luck except maybe Spock. That’s it. Lazy writing imo.

Kaz Wolfe has everything he needs to prevent a Convergence that would allow gods and monsters from the Nether to invade our world. Everything, other than a single clue about what a Convergence is. Or how it works. Or how to stop it. To get answers, he might have to take a fun-filled family road trip to the last place he wants to go: the Netherworld.

Are the chapters out of order?
Revisado: 05-24-24
Chapter 20 specifically seems like it’s in the wrong spot it definitely should be way earlier in the book. That’s super annoying especially when this book was delayed two weeks. Also I still don’t understand why they googled the history of Merlin because a bad guy says a similar name and They google the entire historical era of the knights era AND They google the worst year in history, BUT nobody tried to google Babylon and a “wizard” named Marduk? Just typing in the word in they’d know he’s a god IMMEDIATELY. That’s super annoying.

Good story, ungrateful main character
Revisado: 05-18-24
Let me preface by saying I really love this story. I just don’t like the main character.
Mc is super ungrateful. How many people would give up EVERYTHING to see a loved one again? He gets that very chance and will not stop complaining about it and decides to not meet up with the people he lost. It truly makes me wonder what is even the point of going back in time if you seem to regret every moment of it? “By going back in time I’ve essentially killed them” weren’t they already dead?! “They won’t be the same people I know” yeah they get to be BETTER people, ALIVE people. Not to mention the dude rants about people changing and how every minute action caused them to change over time but doesn’t notice they were changing while he knew them so they would also be different people as time went by. I’d rather a protagonist that would stop everything to hug his once dead mother and sisters than one that would cry at the thought of old friends and refuse to pick up their calls. This guys a worse rogue version of Zac from Defiance of the Fall but at least it’s not cultivation fic.

Revisado: 02-24-24
I like the story but rinoz shitty parent trope and the child’s lackadaisical acceptance of it is so damn annoying.

I’m loving the series so far. Spam is great by the way. Fantastic combination of characters and their individuality really show the only problem is it makes you yearn for more of each of them

I hate Emily
Revisado: 05-29-22
She’s beyond annoying to me. Mira, Jackson, Sarah are great I like them. Dave is almost as annoying as Emily but at least there’s a battle within him regarding what to do. But the hypocrisy that they practically live by is beyond disgusting. I was hoping Emily and Dave would die throughout this entire trilogy and that the story would continue on through the kids but, I stay disappointed. I like the story. The main characters though…
