We're in the middle of an epidemic of average. So-called "normal" people get up every day, go to work, do what's asked of them, leave promptly at five, and return home to sit on the couch and watch TV. Society tells us that this is what it means to lead a balanced life. Don't stress too much or work too hard. Your career isn't everything. But Grant Cardone thinks this preoccupation with balance has really just given an excuse to be mediocre.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
Grant Cardone is a crazy man and drills his point home. However, his stories were all full of himself and sometimes off putting. I'm going to tell my wife that my dreams are more important than she is....Really? I don't think so. Sorry honey, your medical issues are getting in the way of my dreams, NOT! I do think his point to be obsessed in what you are focused on (fully commit, stay focus, persevere, BE OBSESSED, out last the other guy/gal) is a great point and even though some of his antics are wild, you can't help but be motivated and take away some good point.

Not Bad! May or may not fit in your situation. Basically ITaaS. Depending on your company needs this type of approach could be very well suited for success. Could drive down cost and create efficiencies. The author has one thing absolutely correct, if IT isn't aligned with the business, why do they exist? They are not separate, they are part of the sum total. All IT departments should strive to enable the business and the individual departments with-in to succeed at what they do best to drive the company to success and flourish. Good read. Good take-aways to consider.
