30 Books In, Still Making Me Laugh Out Loud

The Stephanie Plum books are my guilty pleasure/escape. When a series goes on for a long time, there is always a danger of straying from the historical timeline and/or the character development. That is not the case with Janet Evanovich and the Stephanie Plum series. In addition, she is still able to create new plots that are hilarious and move the characters forward, but no huge jumps. Lorelai King is a masterful narrator and I hear her in my head when I have an opportunity to read a paper Stephanie Plum book. I never thought I would say this but I almost prefer the audio books now! Thank you Janet and Loralei.

Surprised How Much I Enjoyed

Wasn't sure about short mysteries but have thoroughly enjoyed these and I am looking forward to the next ones. They are well written with the right amount of suspense and the narration excellent.

Immensely entertaining

I have not laughed out loud reading/listening to a book as I did for this one in a long time. The character and story development were attention-grabbing. Of course the delivery of the story by Mr. Grammer enhanced both. There was an element of who-done-it as well but that wasn't the only thing that made me not want to stop listening. It maybe borders on outrageous towards the end but it added to the wackiness of the murder mystery. With the range of characters introduced and endearing qualities of the main character, would love to see a series.

Laugh Out Loud Funny

Ms. King does amazing job bringing Stephanie & co. antics to life. I have read the rest of the books but am needing to do audio books right now. Was pleasantly surprised that I was able to enjoy just as much. Ms. Evanovich does an amazing job of continuing the lives of her characters that is still just as entertaining 27 books in as book 1. As always, can't wait to see what happens next.

Wonderful twists

This may be the my favorite Rhys Bowen book to date. The new characters, multiple locations away from NY, twists and turns all while encompassing a bit history made it so I could not stop listening.

Best Thor Book Ever

The suspense and emotional roller coaster make this book exceptional. I am very impressed with how Mr. Thor is aging his characters appropriately but still taking the story to another level. It will be along wait to hear what's next!
