Many skipped chapters
Revisado: 12-30-21
Not a huge fan of the urban fantasy direction the series is taking with this book. Is it terrible? No. Just extremely frustrated after the listen. The good is all the pieces that were good in the previous books. You know... beating up bad guys and unraveling magical plots while exploring a magical new world. The bad...Too much sitting on the sidelines in discussions and self deprecation. Not enough adventure time...I constantly hovered the skip button trying to get back to the interesting bits. This is a setup book for the rest of the series. It was painful.

Historia
Artorian has seen better days. Chased by demons, hunted by the Red Inkquisition, on the run as a fugitive...and he’s spent barely any time in Eternia. Stuck as a tiny noodle dragon and formed into a crown to decorate the heads of Nobility, he is forced to rely on his friends instead of fixing the issues of the world himself. Luckily for everyone else, the plucky grandfather does not know how to quit. If all Artorian can do is wiggle, then he will wiggle fiercely! By unearthing the secrets of the deity system, he’ll find what it takes to make the true tools of victory.

The last book was an excellent adventure after you suffered through the first 10 or so chapters. This one was just a muddled mess. Non of this was fun. Finished out of a sense of duty after having come this far, but I really want my credit back.

Historia
Artorian gave up his administrator privileges only to be thrust into a new role. The law he is bound to allows him to slip past Eternium’s ironclad rules and break things once thought immutable. For his family, for all of their futures, he must boldly go where few in Cal like to venture: the game world of Eternia. Most of the people that have come to test this world hate being here: dying in days and returning home in disarray.

Revisado: 08-13-21
This book has been sitting on my "e-shelf" for a month because I couldn't get through the first two chapters without losing interest. It's boring. In fact the first 10 chapters are a brutal absolute snooze fest. I finally just skipped through them and I regret nothing. Once he gets "in game," it's a great ride and I couldn't put it down. Do yourself a favor and skip the opening segments and go straight for the main course.

The disastrous duel its explosive conclusion wreaked heavy casualties on the two armies present, rendering both the Ishigar Republic and the Lodrak Empire unable to continue to fight. And yet, it was no stalemate. With one Hero defeated and another revealed, the balance of power is sure to shift in the elvish nation’s favor.

Terrible
Revisado: 07-01-21
Normally anything rated above a 4.7 in this genre is a win. Only made it to chapter 15 but the story is uninteresting and not a fan of the world change (earth, ants, and guns...really?). The narrator's emotional yelling makes it unbearable. Returning the book and maybe I'll pick this series back up with book 6. Extremely disappointed...
2 stars because maybe it gets better somewhere after chapter 15. Wouldn't know. Didn't stick around to find out.

Revisado: 02-04-21
This is actually a well written story. Thoroughly enjoyed the adventure. The story is the star and the harem plot plays second fiddle. Imo, this story would be 10x better without the harem elements. Most of these books are written with sex as the only plot. The adult situations in this one can be skipped through (if you don't care for them) to get back to the amazing story. Solid 4.8 and worth the credit spent.

Rhona's Side Quest
Revisado: 02-03-21
IMO the author makes the poor choice of treating Rhona as if this is her story. Her chapters felt skippable and I skipped through alot of them which is like 50%+ of the book. I picked up this book for a dungeon core experience. If she's not teamed up with Kai and Ban, I really don't care what she's doing on her side quest because she's not a dungeon core. Could a better author pull it off, maybe. The story pulls together at the end, but so many wasted chapters. I would rate this 4.4 at best for being unfocused in a genre full of better written dungeon core themed stories. I'll still grab the next one based on the redeeming final sequence as well as Kai's and Ban's chapters being entertaining.

Things are looking up for Jax, more or less. He's met a cool girl (who's a wisp), got some new friends (who're Dwarves and Cat people and Elves and all sorts), and started a war.... (Whoops!) Only thing is, they say an Englishman's home is his castle, and Jax's home is in ruins...this place isn't going to be any use in defending his new people unless he gets it sorted, and fast!

Very Disappointing...Returned
Revisado: 01-16-21
I came for brute swings Naginata and kills things. Very simple, very easy requirement to satisfy. I put up with the narrator last book because the story was interesting and kept me engaged. Could not get through 5hrs of this overly emotional snooze fest and the narrator was the final nail. I tried to put it down and come back multiple times. Solid nope from me. Very disappointed. I don't care what happens in this story anymore. Should have stopped with Book 1. First book rated over 4.6 that I have absolutely no desire to finish.
