Great Story and Well Narrated

I don’t know what more to say than the title except to reiterate. I thoroughly loved this story and the narration added to the enjoyment. I was surprised how much I enjoyed this book.

Love This Series

I have enjoyed this series and this installment gives us more of what we have come to enjoy. Snarky, pop culture references, super heroes that aren’t always heroic, pop culture references and super villains that aren’t so bad. I know this isn’t for everyone, but I found myself laughing out loud. This is normally not the case with books. Narration is spot on also.

More, More, More Tom Stranger

This was the title of my review of the first installment of Tom Stranger, but it applies again. The only flaw may be that it wasn’t long enough. Nonstop fun and literal laugh out loud moments. Please give us more no matter what the dolphins say!

Great Series

This is a great series with multiple colorful characters with their own personality and ideals. Ideals that shape each decision they make.
Bronson Pinchot has is easily one of the best narrators out there. He reads the book while giving the characters life.

Negative Reviews Didn't Read Whole Book

It is my opinion that most negative reviews didn't give this book a chance. It is very slow to start and doesn't give much insight into what is in store.
I do agree with narration. I got used to the narrator's character voices, but never really liked the narration tone.
This book is filled with a lot of character establishment, but has story behind all. I enjoyed having a peek a secrets to come, but just enough to not really let you know who was behind mystery or where it was leading.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book through twists and turns while showing the downside of a Super and the main characters special secret having an even further downside.
To sum up, I would have to say that this was a great story on super heroes with a fresh look into the story. I am immediately heading to second year.

Great Finish To A Great Trilogy

All three books were a great read. This one concludes the Black Fleet Trilogy, but I hope it is not the last we hear from Captain Wolfe. This book gives another view to war. What are the consequences to the winners and the losers? All I will say is that there are many unexpected questions and answers at the end of this story.

What does Adam Baldwin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Adam Baldwin was an excellent narrator. He was actually a character in the story and added extra kick to the Firefly references.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Towards the beginning of the book with Adam Baldwin as president in a meeting with Tom Stranger was non stop hilarity.

This was cover to cover laughs. I enjoyed every bit of the book. It was an unexpected gem from the norm of Larry Correia.

Don't get Hard Luck Hank confused Shakespeare, but it is a fun read. Hank finds himself in another situation where he must save the galaxy. Let the smart ass hijinks begin.

Great Beginning To New Series

Kim Harrison has created another head strong female character, Perry, who can't seem to get out of her own way to success.

The premise of the story is very original and full of suspense, betrayal and not knowing which side to trust between a corrupt government agency and the clandestine group trying to bring them down. Perry spends the entire story trying to figure out if she was good or bad and which was the side she preferred.

Can't wait for the next installment.

For A Good Time Call Christopher Moore and Fisher Stevens!

I have actually read this story three times. This was my first Christopher Moore to read and I am glad it was Fisher Stevens narrating it.
You hear it said too often, but this book is actually laugh out loud funny. Stevens brings the humor, sarcasm and wit inked by Moore. These two were meant for each other in an audiobook marriage.
The story craftily brings all the characters to life before leading up to the climax. Each having their own personality and fitting perfectly into the plot of the story. Each making you laugh in their own unique way. Christopher Moore makes death funny. Thanks!
