This story really had potential

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to for this one. This story really had good potential but the way the character Nikki is written is absolutely 100% ridiculous! As a mother of 4 there is no way anyone would be this forgetful and incompetent. Give me a break! It ruined the entire story and I was left rolling my eyes through the entire thing! It would have been more believable if she had morphed into a unicorn and flew over a rainbow. So incredibly disappointing. It was more of a comedy than a drama!

I very rarely write reviews but this author with this narrator touched something deep inside me. I felt both characters raw anguish and desire to be something other than who they were both future and past. Beautifully done! Bravo Brittany, there is a reason you are one of my favorites!

The plot was very interesting and the characters were well developed. The only reason I didn’t rate this book higher was because it is a bit confusing. I think if the author had used the idea of years instead of “then and now” it would had been so much better. The narrator was good but I think she could have done more to clarify the time line. Perhaps with more dramatic pauses. Overall, it was a decent novel and I will definitely read other works by Gayle Curtis.

This has been one of my most favorite series’! Anne Frasier knocked it out of the park with this one! I laughed, I cried and cheered!! Natalie Ross was a rockstar narrator and I loved her character portrayals. Please, please ladies give us more of David, Elise, Strataluna and Jackson Sweet!!

The story was excellent, appropriately paced and kept me guessing. I thought I knew the killer, then I didn’t. I loved the story of new beginnings with both Spencer and Vaughn. Narration was top notch! Mary Burton continues to be one of my favorite thrillers!!

What a beautifully written story about the love between a mother and daughter who are on a journey for forgiveness, understanding and truth. I have a daughter of my own and can’t even begin to imagine how Emma and Zoe felt!! Perfectly timed subject matter for the current state of technology and age of the internet and the damage they can cause. Perfect narration only made this story even better-through her narration I felt so many feelings. I cried, laughed, grew angry and finally forgiveness.
