Historia
When summoned to a fantastical world and granted powers by a broken System, most freshly minted protagonists would strap on their big-boy boots and get ready for their stats to start climbing. But Fischer isn't like most MCs. In fact, he doesn't want to be a hero at all. Fame? Fortune? Power? He had enough of all that in his old life. Discovering forbidden fishing techniques and petting every cute animal that comes within scritching distance? Now that's a good time.

I love LitRPGs, this one is fantastic, detailed (but not TOO detailed), well written, and well performed.

Mixing of the Iron Druid and the Sigil Agents!
Revisado: 08-16-21
I'm laughing so hard I'm losing it. There's a translation and linguistics lesson at the beginning of the book, which I assume is to assist those reading the book, not listening to it. Luke Daniels reads it, and I am just LOSING it!! It's hilarious!
"...you're wondering why the N and the V are silent..."
"...but that there is a noun, my friends, not a verb..."
The book contents are no less amazing! I have loved the Iron Druid books, and have them in both print and audio. It' nice to see this world fleshed out further!

AMAZING series! Must read LITRPG!
Revisado: 02-12-21
A great main character, relatable, and true. Although sometimes a little crass, this series is amazing and very true-to-life (as much as a LITRPG book can be.) The book takes several fun twists and turns that I didn't expect, but loved every minute!
PLUS, it has a sneak preview of the authors' new series at the end!

Revisado: 11-19-20
The third in the series this book continues the saga of Noobtown. The environment gets much more technical as far as gameplay but the part that made me laugh the most was at the very end. Always listen to an audiobook all the way through. This particular book has outtakes at the very end.

Historia
Jack is violently pulled into a game-like universe and dumped into a seaside town on the brink of destruction. When the people of Blackmoor Cove begin to ask about his combat role, Jack discovers his odd Hero Class and finds that parts of his game interface are riddled with exposed coding errors. He quickly learns that the only way the town can grow and push back the unknown substance threatening to consume it is if brave Heroes venture into an infinitely high, ever-changing tower, kill bizarre monsters for their equipment drops, and then deposit those items into a special chest.

a LITRPG w/ detailed characters, a great read[end]
Revisado: 07-16-20
The first in a series. The mechanics utilized in the LITRPG, as well as the small details of 'exposed code' are very entertaining and a fun additional twist on the genre standard. The situation of the plot, as well as the detail in the NPCs give this series an amazing depth, and really made me enjoy the story.
The performances by the three narrators are fantastic. I deeply enjoy when female characters are voiced by women and male characters voiced by men. This small detail always makes an audiobook much more immersive and enjoyable for me. The added joy of having both a standard narrator, as well as a different individual performing the male characters gave this series an amazing irresistible draw for me. I purchased the second in the series immediately after finishing the first. I wish the third were ready now!

Historia
Sandra had been a merchant traveling through the human lands of Muriel, though that wouldn’t have been her chosen profession. What she would’ve loved to become was a crafter, producing wondrous creations with her own two hands. Unfortunately, Sandra was born with a deformity in her hands that made them appear frozen in a claw-like pose; as a result, she couldn’t grip anything with any sort of strength or dexterity, meaning that she wasn’t able craft anything but the most simple of things that required very little in the way of hand-based manipulation.

Good Story, Interesting cadence of speech.
Revisado: 06-08-20
I found the cadence of the speech of the narrator to be distracting from the story. I did find the story absolutely amazing, and as I find most stories, a little bit too short. I was hoping for a lot more.

Historia
Narrated by Emmy Award–winning actor Martin Sheen, The Home Front: Life in America During World War II takes listeners into the lives of Americans at home—part of the Greatest Generation—who supported the war effort and sustained the country during wartime. The war brought immediate, life-changing shifts: the rationing of meat, dairy products, and sugar; an explosion of war-related jobs; and, despite mixed signals, a greater role for women working outside the home.

- De Bradley Justice en 09-11-17
Credits between episodes break up the flow.
Revisado: 09-17-19
Although the narration was absolutely phenomenal being interrupted between episodes with the credits was mildly annoying. I ended up skipping the last minute to 45 seconds of every chapter just to keep the flow of the story intact. Additionally the stereotypical "Audible hopes you enjoyed this program" phrase at the end of every audiobook was missing on this one.

Slow to start and difficult to follow.

Slow to start and difficult to follow. If listening in the car, hard to hear all the activities due to the choice to have some sounds / dialog faded to indicate someone or an action was far away.
