Mountain Man Deliciousness!

I read the book a while ago before I listened to it. The first part of my review will, therefore, be of the narrators and the second part is my review of the book.

Charley Ongel and Tor Thom made the characters come alive right in my ears. Tor Thom's sexy growling and Charley Ongel's sassy, sweet voice swept me away and completed the story to perfection. The chemistry between the characters was off the charts with Tor and Charley's interpretation of Mike and Avery and I fell in love all over again.
Reading the book was amazing but listening to the audio took the story to the next level.
Charley captured Avery's pain and despair to perfection. She made me live out all the feelings Avery was having and she took me on a deliciously wicked journey as the scenes grew hotter and hotter between Avery and Mike.
Tor Thom blew my mind. He brought Mike to life and made him just as deliciously sexy as I imagined he would be. He too captured the deeper feelings in Mike and made the story much more than a lot of hot spanking and lovemaking.


So, let's be honest here. The Daddy theme is all over the place at the moment. Everyone and their mother do the Daddy thing, some with more skill than others. BUT Kara Kelley does it better than all the rest. Mountain Man Daddy is BRILLIANT. It's been a long time since I have read such a radiant, vivid and captivating story.

Avery is on the run. She is running for her life. She is all alone and trying to survive as long as she can.
When she drives off the road to avoid a moose, she is almost killed, and all she can think about is finally getting peace.
Mike finds her and brings her back to life, and this is where Avery and Mike's story begin.

Mike is living alone on his mountain with Rocky the bear as his only companion. His only contact with the outside world is Annie, his neighbor, who is almost as much a hermit as Mike.
Mike is running from his past, even though he is staying in one place all the time. He has been running for a long time, but when he rescues Avery his need to keep running is slowly evaporating.
I'm not going to talk a lot about the plot because it's thick and I don't want to ruin it for anyone. But let me tell you this, it kept me on the edge of my seat almost all the time reading the book.

Let's get down to business. The spanking! OMG! The spanking in Mountain Man Daddy is blazing, scorching and boiling HOT. It had me moaning out loud all the time, and that's kind of embarrassing with people around me. Thank you, Kara, for making my cheeks blush more than once.

Kara Kelley has created two characters that just went straight to my heart.
Avery's pain and loneliness were so well described that I felt it in every bone in my body. I loved her from the very first moment.
Mike....sorry, I'll have to catch my breath before I start describing him. He is a growling, rumbling mountain bear of an alpha man. He is clever and wise and knows to read people. His painful past just makes him even yummier. To say that I loved Mike is perhaps a bit of an understatement. I loved him, like in LOVED him.

Mountain Man Daddy had my heart beating a little faster, and this is definitely a book I'm going to read again and again.
Kara Kelley held me in an iron grip throughout the entire book, and I was completely mesmerized.

Mafia love story with a dark twist!

The first time I read Crow by A. Zavarelli I was absolutely spellbound by the universe A. Zavarelli created.
This time I listened to the story on Audio and A. Zavarelli's words in the mouth of Tracy Marks was even more brilliant.
I tend to enjoy dual narration more than single, but Tracy Marks did a fantastic job bringing the story alive, and I loved every single moment of the adrenaline-filled, scorching hot romance flowing like lava into my ears.

This is a raw, violent mafia story and A. Zavarelli shows us the dark side of her brain. She takes us on a thrilling journey with her heroine Mackenzie who is desperately looking for her best friend Talia, who has disappeared. Mack is sure she knows who has taken Talia and that leads her straight into the arms of Lachlan. As long as she tells herself that her only interest in Lachlan is his connection to Talia, she can keep her feelings under control. But soon her iron control starts to melt like steel in a furnace.
Lachlan Crow is married to the Irish mafia, and there isn't a thing he won't do for his family in the underworld. That is until he sees Mack fight and win like a pro and his priorities get confused. Even though he insists that his only interest in Mack is keeping the peace in the underworld, we soon discover that he can't keep his hands off her.

Crow is the first book in the Boston Underworld series, and A. Zavarelli sends the series off with a bang. She leaves her readers and listeners dying for the next book.

To the fans of mafia love stories with a cruel and dark twist, Crow is a must-read or must-listen. The story is addictive and mesmerizing.

Sexy Jack Leonard makes Betsy come alive

I just can't get enough of Amelia Smarts, and when I heard that Catching Betsy was on audio, I just had to listen to it.
Amelia's writing comes alive told by the sexy voice of Jack Leonard. He blows life into all the characters and l literally feel his warmth seep through my veins while listening. The story gets better every time I listen to it, and I can only recommend it with all my heart.

I have a thing for Amelia Smarts. I’ll admit it right away. I have a bit of a crush on her and her writing and her characters. So, perhaps I’m not really objective anymore? I can fully understand if you shake your head and tsk at me, but what is a woman to do? When an author’s writing just leaves you breathless and wanting more?

Catching Betsy did just that to me.
Betsy Blake is a young eighteen-year-old woman who wants to get married, but she is not interested in the raw and tough cowboys living in Virginia City, she wants a gentleman with a gentleman’s position.
So, the feisty young woman places an ad in New York Times, looking for a mail order groom, lying about her age and do not tell anyone about the ad.
Roderick Mason is a very accomplished architect living in New York. He wants a family to share his life with, but can’t seem to find a woman to hold his interest. He sees Betsy’s ad and is intrigued.
When he gets to Virginia City, he discovers that not everything is as the young Betsy had written in her telegrams but that doesn’t scare him away. It makes him want to protect the young woman and teach her that a good hard punishment is sometimes the only thing that can help with bratty behavior.

Amelia creates the most likable characters. Betsy is such a sweet girl with a naughty twist.
Roderick is a real gentleman but deep down he carries the most wicked desires, and it was impossible for me not to fall a little in love with him.

We catch up with Susannah and Adam, from the first book in the series, and it was so good to “see” them again.

Amelia’s writing is as always stunningly beautiful, and she flips the reader back in time with much grace.

For the fans of historical romance, this is a treat, and a must read and listen!

Liquid s*x in my ears

This was just what I needed. A tough bada** alpha male. Some blood and gore. And a lot of hot steamy sex.
The male narrator was like hot liquid s*x in my ears and it was brilliant.
I swapped between reading and listening and both the reading and listening was enjoyable.

Capivating delight!

Bring out the big guns because here comes a real wild west story.
Amelia Smarts' Corralling Callie was pantie melting, exhilarating and absolutely fantastic!

Callie is a young woman headed West to meet her future husband. She is a mail order bride, and her future is in the unknown, to say the least, but she is filled with joy and happy expectations and nothing is going to bring her down. That is until she has to interact with the other passengers on the coach that is bringing them all to Sacramento. Coachman Jude is doing what he can to make it as pleasant a journey for all of them as possible, but sometimes even his calm temper can't handle the little firecracker. And he is forced to be very stern with her.

I just fell in love with Callie from the first moment we met her. The way she was mistreated for so many years and didn't really know how to be around people was absolutely heartbreaking. You never knew if what she told was the truth or just a story to make other people like her more. She was an old soul in a young woman's body.

Jude was the calm sea that gave Callie comfort and kept her safe. He was also the person that cared so much about her that he wanted to do almost anything to help her. He ended up giving her some very hard spankings to make her change her ways.

I loved this story!!

Well, but I didn't read it. I heard it on Audible. The story was told by Gideon Wells, and he was amazing! His voice was like liquid sex in my ears, and I could listen to it forever!
He made the story come to life in front of me. Oh boy, did he make my heart go all crazy! Swoon!!

This won't be the last time I listen to Corralling Callie. I'm a huge fan of Amelia Smarts and her writing. But Gideon Wells just corralled me too, and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for him. His voice makes all my princess parts tingle.

To fans of sexy cowboy spanking, read out loud by a über sexy and tantalizing voice this is a must-listen.

Would you listen to Her Outlaw Daddy again? Why?

I would definitely listen to Her Outlaw Daddy again. The story is well written and the narrator is brilliant!

What did you like best about this story?

The sexual tension and the spankings. I liked the dark romance and the capture fantasy. And of course, the entire DaddyDom theme was ûber hot.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This was a short, smoking hot story and I absolutely loved it. It is crazy well written and narrated and I could almost smell the horses, cigarettes, and leather and did I catch a hint of gunpowder as well? Yep, I think I did.

I'm afraid I'm going to sound like a broken record. But seriously, Jane Henry and Maisy Archer writes the most sultry stories ever. They have a very subtle understanding of telling what's on their mind and it seeps into me like the most delicate fragrance.

Tony is one of my favorite Boston Dom heroes so far. That man was just the most delicious hunk of an alpha-male, and it was all came naturally to him. He sure made all my lady parts tingle, and he could have spanked my butt anytime he wanted to, and I would have asked for more. He is calm, strong, steady, sensitive and bighearted. He is very much aware of the people around him, and he catches all of Tessa emotions. He is not natural sure of himself, but he learns to trust his feelings and trust his ability to give Tessa just what she needs.

Tessa is just lovely, and her story grabbed my heart. She had a terrible upbringing and started to cut herself as a teenager, to have something in her life she could control. She is addicted to being spanked because it grounds her and gives her the calm she so desperately needs.

These two characters are the perfect match, and I absolutely loved how Jane and Maisy told their love story.

I heard this story on audible. The dual narration was excellent, and I really enjoyed it.
