I picked up this book on a whim because the combination of sushi and a conveyor belt seemed, well, unlikely. Oh, and I never eat sushi.
This book is a thorough history of the evolution of restaurants serving dishes of sushe to their customers. It is detailed, but not dense.
The narrator is the real star of this book. His delivery drew me into this niche novel more than I ever would have thought possible. It was captivating, actually.
