no pun intended this book has the bones of a good litrpg but falls short with secondary out of game murder plot. to many inconsistencies factual errors and hastily push moments to suspend disbelief. The whole murder could have been replaced with a heart attack and made the story overall better.

if you are looking for blatant stat blocks and exp award notices blaring this won't be for you. The rpg elements are more subtle and background to a good story and interesting world building. Great book hope there are many more to come.

A trilogy of meaningless threats and main characters winning with world breaking disbelief.
nothing seems to matter even real world life and death. The hypocrisy of the main protagonists makes him almost impossible to feel anything for and the constant "Oh no let me help solve all your problems" does little to make him seem likable. everything in these books leans so heavily in favor of the main character that it is impossible to suspend disbelief.
