satanic religiophopic, garbage. who ever said this was like firefly clearly never watched the show. this captain is a selfish loser that try to double cross his crew also there no humor to be found... and I really wanted to like it....

the mad mic is a fun character, sadly his daughter is a major "B" that messes things up and gets people killed. but these last 3 were better then the 1st 3 in the series. I came to these after listening to the locker 9 books, and really you could skip the 1st 3 mad mics and just do 4-6 if you want to continue the locker 9 storyline

if you like stories where all the men are either stupid, evil rapist, or weak geeks that need women to protect them, then, I'm sure you will love this. otherwise there are better vampire stories out there... which is sad because I did like premise, and plot...

good story bad audio..

I tried to skip this but book 8 kept talking about it without giving a summary, so I waisted a credit... the story was good but all the "action" parts were like listening to a TV show without watching what was happening, a bunch of noise, with no narration of what was happening... I sometimes like when they do audio dramas of books but they need to keep in the narration with the sound effects... that said I still really enjoy this series, and except this one they are well worth my credits!

gone is the fun and humor of the original. In its place is a bunch of anti-religious BS. So unless you are into scientology and long drawn out boring storyline, I would steer clear of this instalment of the black ocean....

a lot more cussing and sex than the original. and wasn't as much fun. but for on credit it's a tone of listening time and I still like the world he created. just not as good without the Mobius crew.

best bang for your credit!

This is a really fun sci-fi series. A lot firefly mixed with some Star Wars and other fun. Don't take it too seriously and you will enjoy it.
On a side note, not as anti-religious as most sci-fi now-a-days. But definitely would be rated R for language and violence.

this is a very fun story, maybe a bit blasphemous, and quite a bit of cussing, but a lot less then most now a days. my only complaint is half the time is sounds like the narrator is saying Hellen instead of Kellan the main characters name .
