Historia
Conan the Barbarian, the world’s most famous fantasy hero, returns in an all-new novel tied directly to the famous works by his legendary creator, Robert E. Howard. Set early in his life, Conan has left his northern homeland to cut a bloody swath across the legendary Hyborian Age. A mercenary, a soldier, a thief, and a pirate, he faces conquering armies, malicious sorcerers, and monstrous creatures—against which he wields only the sword held in his powerful grasp.

Meh, good enough to buy the next one.
Revisado: 12-20-22
It wasn’t great. The story meandered and it wasn’t Conan enough. There was no real ending and it seemed like it was leading up to Red Nails. The narrator was average. I’ll buy the next book just to see where it goes and because it’s Conan. I don’t have high hopes though.

Not engaging and too long.
Revisado: 11-10-22
I couldn’t finish the last 30 minutes. Life is too short for bad books. Well, maybe bad is too harsh. I just didn’t care how it ended. I didn’t really care how it went the entire way. Cado could be a fun pulp hero for episodic adventures, but in this format it just isn’t great. Maybe AoS just doesn’t make for good novels.

Underwhelming
Revisado: 06-07-22
A long and tedious story about something to do with wolves or space marines. Maybe both. A saint was present and she was weird or calmly majestic or something. I don’t know, I’m just glad it’s over.

Morgravia Sanctus is being hunted. Something terrible has happened to her, a profound trauma that has left behind ‘red dreams’ and a physical agony that can strike at any moment. Her life in danger and her memory fragmented, she arrives in the low-hive of Blackgheist to escape her pursuers and search for ‘the Broker’ – a trafficker in memories and psychic mind manipulation. Soon after, a plague sweeps the city, turning its citizens into blood-hungry monsters. Order collapses, death and slaughter are rampant.

Solid horror story
Revisado: 09-17-20
Great as a zombie novel. I’ll admit though, I was a little confused as to how long the period of time was from the outbreak to beginning to its end. I thought it was a couple of days, but a hardcore cult had developed, no way that happened in 2 days. Also, the main plot point about the missing memories seemed bolted on to an otherwise great read.

Standard cop story in SPAAAACE! Not bad, I liked it and will read the sequel. Chris Wraight always delivers even if the genre isn't your thing.

The last hour is pretty ok. It is very much a promo for 9th edition. No consequences and no likable characters. Apparently spooky space robots are all sad.

Politics not Horror
Revisado: 09-14-20
A boring political plot with a monster living in the basement. I was happy when it was over. It's not a bad story, but it's not very entertaining.
