Don't get me wrong, I loved the story but Violet annoyed me. She is sooooo independent that she became entirely self absorbed. Some else is working through thier own problems? How dare they affect precious Violet and her need for complete independence. Express concern? The very nerve.

ANYWAY lol I love Elsie Silver and one annoying character isn't going to pry her books from my hands!

I really loved this story along with all the animals, pregnancies and baby Tylenol syringes!
Trista is fierce and independent while Wyatt is stubborn and broody. I was a little frustrated with Trista. For as "noisy" as she is, she didn't know how to communicate very well at times. Her home life was rough though, and meeting Wyatt and his "your business is my business" family did overwhelm her. Wyatt was loyal and protective (the perfect possessive mountain man) and so excited to become a dad!

Love my Hockey men!

I'll start off by saying I love all things Hockey when it comes to romance. Also, I love or MCs Lily and Randy. My problem with Pucked Over is our main character's extremely intrusive friends. In this world, nothing is off the table. Details of Lily and Randy's intimate time together is dissected and discussed like the local news. Instead of telling thier friend(s) specifically Violet to mind her business, she's just a silly, funny, quirky friend. Seriously get new friends. Anyway, rant over! Lily and Randy are one of my comfort couples. Loved this listen.

Would absolutely recommend 1000%

Moody was such a great listen. The angst was gut-wrenching, and the twists were top-notch. There were ups and downs throughout, but they were done so well. I literally have no complaints.
There is a portion where one of our MCs is in another relationship, but I think it was handled well. No cheating between our MCs, which is a big yes from me. Love our loyal King and Queens!

The brothers sold it for me

This was my debut on the Megan Quinn train, and let me tell you, it has been great so far. I won't go into too much detail, but this was one of the easiest, funniest audiobooks I've listened to in a while. I'm planning to finish out the series and get me some more of those Cane brothers!

Didn't see that end coming at all!

Great second chance romance for both characters. This was a bit shorter compared to the rest of the books in the series. A couple of times, I felt that there was more that could have been said. Like maybe the author was rushed when she wrote this one. That's my biggest complaint... I wish there had been more of Sonya and Foster! The climax and the end of the book were really close together, and I would have loved to see them 'together' just a little longer. Overall, a great listen.

Loved that both characters were virgins

I loved this book. I learned the ins and outs of a new culture. I understand this is personal to the author as she is of Indian descent.
Some of the reviews were negative, saying there were too many names or they didn't like the family dynamics. I did not struggle with either and was super engaged throughout the entire book.
The oldest sister frustrated me beyond anything, but in the end, I got the HEA I was after, so it was worth the buy!

Typical Mafia Romance

My one hang-up was that our fmc works with/for Balenciaga as a model. It wouldn't have been a problem except that a main plot point is her dad running a campaign/rally against human trafficking and she's helping him. If you're on the internet, you already know the controversy around Balenciaga. I know this book was written before all the crap about them was exposed, but that fact in the story just didn't age well if you get my drift.

Narrator and Author are new to me

Molly and Jenna are both new for me. Jenna has a way with words and leaves you hungry for more and Molly made her words come alive! I'm generally not drawn to Novellas but this one hit the spot for a fun little get escape. Plus, the end has a bonus scene in Jenna's next book!
