Struggled to get through this particular audiobook. The reader's voices and inflection made it anything but enjoyable. I'll never listen to another with her as narrator.

Intriguing combination of events culminating in what appeared to be a rushed ending. Having said that, the future potential appears to be building towards a climax in the not-too-distant future.

22 becomes the Final number

I've enjoyed the previous 21 stories following the lives and adventures of our four female musketeers, but this is the end. Number 22 has joined the ranks of the politically correct crowd and then fallen further into the abyss. The anti second amendment theme, along with perpetuating the "Hollywood" false narratives regarding the instant availability of all manner of guns, accessories and suppressors made this story hard to struggle through at times. The belief that every AR style weapon can instantly be made into a fully automatic version without a serial number within seconds and can be purchased everyday, everywhere for mere pocket change is pathetic! You've lost this reader for any future continuation of this series.

Terrific wrap up, but with a shocking twist.

Where did the rest of the story go?

Liked it as far as it went, but just as the story appeared to be winding down, it just abruptly ended. Not sure what the plan is going forward, but one more like that and I'm done! Definitely not a fan of this type of "non-ending."

I almost couldn't listen to this. Compared to the other Alex Cross novels, trying to stay focused while listening to this narrator drone on was definitely a challenge.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Enemy?

Loved hearing about Jack's escapades while still in uniform Also, got to know Joe in ways that had never been offered before. Would love to hear more stories from this era while Jack was still an MP Major.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Wonderful exchanges between brothers during their visits to see Mom.
